In its determination to fulfill its mission to provide affordable and comfortable road transportation services to the masses of our country, Nigeria, Peace Mass Transit (PMT) Limited, has commissioned an additional outlet in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

The new ultra-modern terminal in the Rumuodamaya area brings to three, Peace Mass depots in the Garden city.

The older locations are Rumuola and Oilmill.

The Rumuodamaya facility is a tastefully designed and well-furnished complex, specifically purpose-built, for the comfort of the travelling public.

It is meant to cater to the need and taste of all categories and classes of travellers, particularly those desirous of excitingly memorable road travel experience.

The departure hall has the PMT unique signature, fully-air conditioned, with a large flatscreen television and active cable TV subscription.

The convenience facilities which have regularly earned PMT praises in other parks are also up to the international, corporate standards.

The commissioning of a third depot in any state capital is rare, but in line with the new PMT management policy to take flagship services to more needy communities and people across the country. The project is ongoing.

The Rumuodamaya terminal, as in others, offers the full range of services obtainable in all PMT depots, including mass transit, logistics, and courier.

And crucially, at a time maintenance and replenishment constitute major challenges in the road transportation sector, Peace Mass customers have the luxury and opportunity to travel in a series of brand new vehicles, some less than three months old!

All Peace Mass Transit mini- buses are conditioned to carry only 14 passengers and customers make the decision to travel in A/C buses or otherwise.

The Rumuodamaya Park is fully operational and vehicles are available to a part of the country.

PMT Executive Director in charge of operations, David Okoroafor, describes the delivery of the Rumuodamaya park as “promise fulfilled”.

“Those in the Rumuodamaya area should take advantage of the depot they asked for; it is theirs to maximize”, Okoroafor said.
