Pensioners want inclusion in Kwara palliatives

From Adekunle Jimoh, Ilorin

Pensioners in Kwara State want to be part of the beneficiaries of the government’s palliative measures aimed at cushioning the effect of the stay-at home order, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Spokesman for the retirees Kayode Oyeyipo said that they had been going through difficult times, adding that the situation had been compounded by the lockdown order.

The government last week began the distribution of palliatives to poorest of the poor in the 16 local governments.
