A former comptroller of customs aspiring to contest for Plateau governorship seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nde Victor Dimka, has said that he would bequeath a united, secure and prosperous Plateau if elected.
Dimka, made this known at the APC secretariat in Kanke, where he officially declared his intention to contest for the governorship seat in the state.
According to him, insecurity has being the bane of development and his administration would nip it in the bud and give everyone a sense of belonging to enable them unite and remain united.
“I am a Fellow of the Security Institute and I know that security is everything.
“If you ask me to name three important things; I will tell you that one is security, two is security, three is security.
“With my experience, I will bequeath a peaceful, united and prosperous Plateau,” he stressed.
The governorship hopeful said he has the capacity and experience to make Plateau an envy of other states.
Also, Dimka, however, sought the blessings of stakehokders in Kanke Local Government of Plateau to enable him contest for governorship seat.
He explained that, “Today in the annals of history, your son and your brother is here to let you know that I, David Victor Dimka (DVD), is vying for the exalted position of governorship of Plateau.
Kanke Local Government APC Chairman, William Gombwer appreciated those vying for elective positions on the platform of APC.
He said without the aspirants, the party wouldn’t have being as strong as it is and called on APC members to team up with whoever emerges as party candidate and ensure that the party wins the secondary election.
Mr Menshak Chindaba, Director General, DVD Movement said that Kanke had been looking for an opportunity to govern Plateau in last 48 years.
He said the stakeholders have searched and believe that Dimka is the most qualified to bring the dream to reality.
