Kwara State police command has launched an investigation into the death of a lady in a hotel room in Ilorin, the state capital.

The deceased was said to have been brought into the hotel on May 27 by one Adegboye James, who is now on the run.

James, according to the address he put down, came from Ede, Osun State.

Police spokesman Ajayi Okasanmi confirmed the death of the unidentified lady, saying the command received a call from one Olalekan Anafi,  supervisor of the hotel, that James brought “a lady but later checked out of the hotel without the knowledge of any of the hotel staff”.
