The church is located just in front of where the bomb exploded.
A total of 17 buildings inside the church promises were affected.

Vehicular traffic has been diverted to the old Akure-Benin road.
Many residents in Akure said they heard the explosion.
A son of the prophetess, Kehinde Ayelaba, said his mother and two other families were injured and have been hospitalised.
A security personnel at the church said some babies were injured in some buildings.
