THE Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has praised the Federal Government for blanket waivers on medical supplies and expedited clearing of all imported healthcare equipment and pharmaceutical supplies at the ports.
PSN expressed its gratitude through a statement by its president, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa.
“We welcome with utmost delight and satisfaction the order by President Muhammadu Buhari for a blanket waiver on medical supplies and expedited clearing of all imported healthcare equipment, medical and pharmaceutical supplies at the ports,” he said.

The PSN recently expressed appreciation to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on the N100 billion intervention funds to the pharmaceutical industries for growth stimulation
It hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for Federal Government’s gesture.
“This action indicates that our President is listening to good counsel that will strengthen our healthcare system and guarantee our victory as a nation over this scourge,” he said.
