Radio Nigeria official killed in Benue

TWENTY-four hours after the kick-off of a military exercise in Benue State, gunmen have shot and killed an official of FRCN Harvest FM Radio station engineer Patrick Kumbur in Makurdi, the state capital.

The gunmen also killed another person Shongo Wueseter, who attempted to identify them.

The late Kumbur was the station Head of Engineering and ICT.

The military exercise, code-named “Operation Ayem A’Kpatuma “(Cat race) started on November 1in the state capital.

The military said the operation was meant to flush out criminals in the state.
