The family of Oladotun of the Olola in Isale-Bode area of Ibadan, Oyo State have announced the death of their father, Alhaji Rufai Oladotun.
He died in his sleep last Saturday and has been buried according to Islamic rites. He was 88.
The late Oladotun, a retired police officer and an auctioneer, was a player in Oyo State politics until the later years of his life.

He is survived by three wives, Alhaja Sariyu Aduke, Alhaja Sidikat Abike and Alhaja Toibat Adufe, as well as children among whom are Mr. Isiaq Aderemi Oladotun, an engineer; Mrs. Faosat Bolanle Bamigbose, a lawyer; Mr. Tairu Adekunle Oladotun, Mrs. Saudat Moyosore Sopehin, Alhaja Ganiyat Adewunmi Kazeem, Alhaja Simiat Omolara Alade, Alhaja Sadiat Temilola Adedamola, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Oladotun’s fidau will hold on Saturday at his home in Felele/Olorunsogo community, Ibadan, Oyo State.
