THE Vicar of St. Paul Anglican Church, Odo-Ona, Ibadan, Ven. Isaac Adeyemi, has urged the federal and state governments to return scriptural education to school curriculum.

This, he said, would reduce moral decadence.

The cleric said there is need to restore morality to the country, adding that Nigeria can’t be at its best if scriptural education is left out in the curriculum.

Adeyemi, speaking in Ibadan at a programme to celebrate the 110 Founders Day Anniversary of the church, with the theme: “Educational and Scriptural Trainings are Inseparable Panacea for Moral Decadence in the Society”, noted that lack of morality is the cause of vices.

He said activities lined up for the event included visitation to the School of Handicap, Molete, Ibadan, prayer for the nation, praise concert, giving award to worthy individuals, launching of Vision 2030 and thanksgiving service.
