Rivers State government has threatened to take ownership of nightclubs and cinemas flouting its order to stop operation as part of measures to contain the Coronavirus pandemic.
Governor Nyesom Wike said the state was working to save lives through its tough measures.
Wike spoke on Wednesday when he inaugurated a task force to enforce the ban on public and religious gatherings at the Government House in Port Harcourt. The governor chairs the committee.
