Barely two days after concluding two legged encounter with Akwa United, CAF Champions League campaigner, Rivers United have lined up another two games with Bayelsa United, the 2021 Aiteo Cup champions who hoist Nigeria’s flag in the CAF Confederation Cup competition.
The Pride of Rivers beat Akwa United 1-0 in Port Harcourt last Sunday but lost by the same outcome in Ikot- Ekpene to the Promise Keepers.

They will host Bayelsa United today at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt while Stanley Eguma’s men will hit Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa for the return leg on Sunday.
Both teams see the games as the continuation of their preparations for the new season and their involvement in the CAF Inter Club competitions. Both games start by 4.00pm.
