The Old Boys Association of Saint George’s College, Obinomba in Ukwani Local Government Area of Delta State, will hold its Diamond Jubilee of the founding of their college on Thursday.
Several projects will be launched, including an e-Library.
The association also plans to launch a N100million appeals fund at the event.

The association’s National President, C.N. Nwanwene, an engineer, in a statement in Asaba, the state capital, said the event will be held at the School Assembly Hall for a Holy Mass expected to be celebrated by His Lordship, Dr John Afaregha.
Saint George’s College, the statement noted, is worthy of celebrating having produced great men who are nation-builders and whose achievements are groundbreaking in every sphere of life.
The school, which was founded in February 1960 towards the end of the colonial era, was to have celebrated the event in 2020 but it was shifted on the account of COVID-19 pandemic-induced lockdown.
