THE death has occurred of Hon Frank Frederick Okechukwu Ekpe, of Enugwu Ukwu Anambra State.
He was aged 65 years.
Ekpe was a member of Anambra State House of Assembly from 1999 to 2003.
He was Chairman of the Education Comittee of the House which recommended the establishment of Anambra State University, now Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu university, Uli, with multi campues in other zones in the state.
He was also Chairman Nigerian Union of Teachers, Anambra State branch, from 1996 till 1998.
He is survived by his wife, many chikdren, grand children & other relations including Mr Sam Ekpe, a veteran journalist and Abuja based Media & Public Relations consultant.
His remains will he laid to rest in Enugwu Ukwu on Friday September 18 2020 after burial service at St Andrew’s Anglican Church Enugwu Ukwu.
