Senator Lanre Tejuoso smiles

Being awarded is a sign that one has not come to the world without leaving a legacy. Regardless of your status in the society, an award gives you joy and the desire to do more.

Senator Lanre Tejuoso couldn’t hide his satisfaction recently while he was being honoured in the United Kingdom by the Nigerian Achievers Awards Institute in London.

In Hilton Paddington hall, the chairman of the 8th Senate Committee on Health was awarded alongside a Nigerian-born lawyer, Mrs. Juliet Benson; founder of the Abuja Graduate School, Dr. Joe Okoli and five other Nigerians.

Tejuoso expressed gratitude to the organisers and Nigerians for the honour, promising to continue to serve his people with all the resources available to him.

Prince Afolabi Andu, who put the awards ceremony together, commended the recipients for their contributions to the corporate world and humanity.

Also, as the President of the Nigerian-British Business Forum, Andu unveiled the Nigerian Achievers Compendium 2020, a publication proposed to project exciting Nigerians in the Diaspora.
