Seriki’s abducted brother, others freed

The younger brother of Seriki (leader) of the Hausa community in Osun State, Usman, who was abducted alongside two others, has been set free.

The other two abductees were also released.

The three were seized and taken away on Ilesha/Ife Expressway in Osu community last week.

It was gathered that the abductors contacted the Seriki of Iyere, Haruna Tanko, demanding N50 million to free them.

Police spokesperson Yemisi Opalola said police freed the three men from their abductors.
