Seven persons died yesterday morning in auto crash on the Lekki-Epe Expressway, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has said.
The accident occurred about 1am.
The deceased comprising two men and five women were riding in a Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and suspected to be drunk at the time of the crash.

The driver of the SUV reportedly rammed it into a moving truck, killing all five occupants.
In a statement, FRSC’s Public Education Officer (PEO) in Lagos, Route Commander Olabisi Sonusi said their bodies were evacuated to a morgue.
Quoting the state’s FRSC boss, Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide, Sonusi advised motorists to avoid drunk driving.”
