Seven start-ups have received $3, 000 each to deploy solutions and platforms to contain the spread of coronavirus.
The start-ups took part in the #COVID-19 Innovation Challenge Virtual Demo Day organised by Ventures Platform and supported by MTN, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and Lagos State Science and Research Innovation Council (LASRIC).

In a statement, the Communication Lead, Ventures Platform, Joy Mabia, disclosed that the seven start-ups received $3,000 equity-free grant each from Ventures Platform and its partners.
Some of the partners include: Loftyinc Allied Partners, Silverchip Fox Consulting, Bluechip Technologies, AGS Tribe, ACIOE, Lakunle Runsewe, Manasseh Egedegbe, Venture Garden Group, Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG), Sterling Bank and LASRIC.
