Table tennis stars – Quadri Aruna and Olufunke Oshonaike have been adopted by the SIFAX Group ahead of the rescheduled 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
The announcement came after a meeting with the Chairman of the Sifax Group and the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare.
The adoption is under the Adopt-an-Athlete initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.
The company is expected to support athletes’ preparations towards the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
With the adoption of Aruna and Oshonaike, the number of athletes adopted under the Adopt-an-Athlete initiative of the ministry has risen to 18.
