Upcoming Afro pop songster, Ayokanmi Oluwasegun Eyanro, has given succour to no fewer than 500 Kwara rural dwellers.
The assistance ranged between N500,000 in cash and N200,000 worth of food items.
Eyanro called for calm amongst residents of the state even in the midst of the novel virus, adding that the identification of people infected with the virus should be seen as a good omen.
The songster, whose stage name is Frequencie, revealed that he distributed food items for some vulnerable people.
Food items distributed, according to him, include rice, spaghetti, semovita and noodles.

The Kogi- born muscian argued the negligence and delay from some advanced nations to commence test at early stage on those that were infected with the virus worsened the state of things.
He frowned at the “poor handling of the index coronavirus case at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH).”
He noted: “No preferential treatment should be given to patients at this critical moment because the disease shows no regard to anyone. I wonder why anyone will even want to hide his status or get special treatment in this situation we find ourselves.
“In the real sense of it, the elites in the society should lead by example in disclosing their status, and sharing their success story, to encourage the common man to show readiness to fight this scourge.”
