SIX persons have been arrested in connection with the attack on Ikorodu North monarch, Oba Raji Olukayode.
Olukayode was attacked by thugs at his Isiu palace on Friday.
Friday’s attack was said to be the second on the newly-installed monarch.
It was gathered that the hoodlums first laid siege on the Oba’s boys and allegedly injured one of them on September 2, before storming the palace on September 4, where their attempts to get the monarch was resisted by local vigilantes and community youths.
Police spokesman Muyiwa Adejobi confirmed the arrest of the suspects.
