St Charles alumni reward teachers

AS Covid-19 pandemic continues to impact the lives and livelihoods of Nigerians nationwide, putting millions of additional people at risk of hunger while continuing to hurt people already familiar with hardship, a group of alumni has put smiles on the faces of teachers.

The President of the Old Students Association of St Charles Grammar School, Osogbo, Osun State,  Charleans in the Diaspora, Engr. Yemi Ajijolaiya, while donating a cash gift of N1 million naira to the school said the primary focus was to assist the majority of the students who came from poor families.

Ajijolaiya said Charleans in the Diaspora reached out to the school authorities; and the group was able to get students enrolment figure as well as the staff numbers.

In his response, one of the principals, Mr Kehinde Durosinmi, expressed gratitude on behalf of the school teachers.
