‘Sule is fighting insecurity, banditry in Nasarawa’

THE monarch of Kokona, the Abaga Toni, Chief Lawrence Sylvestre Ayih has stated that the coming of investors into various sectors of the state’s economy through the governor’s efforts, had taken the teeming population off the streets.

He said that Dangote Sugar companies located in Awe, Olarm farms in Doma, as well as Azma rice in Toto, are initiatives of Governor Sule, all which are employing thousands of Nasarawa youths.

He hailed the governor for his efforts in fighting insecurity and banditry through these investments.

A statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Addra, quoted the monarch as praising the vision and leadership style of the governor, noting that some of the government’s initiatives have a long gestation period.

The Abaga Toni spoke when Governor Sule paid a visit to the paramount ruler at his palace yesterday in Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area of the state.

Sule, who was honoured with the traditional title of “Sarkin Yakin Kokona,” expressed gratitude for the peaceful disposition of the people of Kokona and the state in general.
