Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has notified the House of Assembly that he is travelling to the United States of America (USA) for medical check-up, beginning from December 13 to 29.
Speaker Ibrahim Abdullahi made this known while reading the governor’s letter to members titled: “Notification to Travel to the United States of America”.
The letter said: “I wish to inform the Speaker that I shall be travelling to the United States of America for medical check-up from Sunday, 13th to Saturday 29th December 2020.
“Accordingly, in my absence, the deputy governor will oversee the affairs of the state pending my return.”
The Nation gathered that Deputy Governor Emmanuel Akabe is now the acting governor.
