An Ogudu Magistrates’ Court yesterday remanded 21-year-old Samson Obinna, who allegedly used a toy gun to rob a man of a N40,000 cell phone.
Obinna pleaded guilty.
Prosecuting Inspector Lucky Ihiehie said the defendant robbed Jude Nworie on the road.
According to Ihiehie, Obinna committed the offence on June 6 at 6.30p.m at Mile 12 in Ketu, Lagos State.
Magistrate Ejiro Kubeinje adjourned till August 29 for sentencing.
