The police in Ebonyi State have arrested a suspected herdsman for allegedly raping a 56-year-old woman to death.

Although details of the incident were sketchy last night, a source in the community said the suspected herdsman allegedly carried out the act on December 28 at Ufuezeraku, Ugwulangwu in Ohaozara Local Government.
Police spokesperson Loveth Odah confirmed the incident.
