    Singer Adekunle Kosoko, famously known as Adekunle Gold has reached out on his X platform, urging fans to stream both his latest single and his wife Simi’s upcoming release.

    The singer’s new song, “The Life I Chose,” was released today, February 21, while his wife, Simi’s song is set to debut on Friday, February 23.

    Adekunle Gold emphasized the importance of streaming their music to support their daughter, Adejare’s education fees.

    Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, known professionally as Adekunle Gold, has sent out a video message to his followers and fans.

    AG baby in the video was heard and seen soliciting fans to send him money in dollars.

    In a post captioned “Send dollars,” the singer could be heard saying that he is aware that he recently mentioned in one of his songs that money brings happiness, but right now, he has backtracked.

    He went on to reveal that he is unhappy and sad, and the only thing that can make him happy is to be sent money/dollars.

    Adekunle Gold, Simi perform together after three years

    Afropop artiste, Adekunle ‘Gold’ Kosoko and his wife, Simi have performed together for the first time in Nigeria after three years.

    The gig, headlined by Adekunle Gold, was held yesterday at The Palm Centre in Lagos, where the celebrity couple wowed music lovers with their enthralling performance.

    The 36-year-old father of one had promised to enchant the audience with his theatrical performance before the concert.

    “At least I can tell you that Simi and I will be performing on stage together in Nigeria for the first time since 2021. This is not a concert, this is an experience and Broadway.”

    AG Baby as fondly called by his fans stated that he has been rehearsing with his band, 79th Element, since the released of his Tequila Ever After’s album in July. He featured his wife on the project in a song titled, ‘Look What You Made Me Do’.

    Gold pledged to reward his teeming followers with phones. “As a thank you for giving me a great 2023 and for supporting me, I’m giving away mobile phones to you guys to support your businesses or studies.”

    The duo of Davido and Adekunle Gold have been billed to perform at the 2023 edition of The BlockParty.

     The event is scheduled to take place on December 26, 2023 and January 1, 2024.

     As announced by the organisers, Davido will headline the Island iteration of the BlockParty, themed ‘Timeless BlockParty,’ while Adekunle Gold will be the marquee act for the Mainland BlockParty’s fifth anniversary.

Exclusively in movie theaters January 12.”

    The movie also features international artists like Lil Wayne, Buju Banton, Shabba Ranks, Kid Cudi, Jorge Ben Jor, Jorja Smith and more.

    The movie would also feature new music from Jay Z, who is also the producer of the movie.

    The director of the film, Jeymes Samuel, an American filmmaker and musician, recently announced the first soundtrack for “The Book of Clarence,” a song titled “Hallelujah Heaven,” featuring Lil Wayne, Buju Banton, and Shabba Ranks.

    The film is described by Sony Pictures as a “bold new take on the timeless Hollywood-era Biblical epic.”

    Popular pop star Adekunle Gold has celebrated his ambassadorial partnership with Manchester United by recalling his visits to football viewing centers to watch matches.

    The afropop singer wowed the fashion world in a recent campaign for the English Premier League club’s LFSTLR collection, which was created in cooperation with Adidas.

    Adekunle wrote on Twitter that he transitioned from watching games in football centres in Ikotun, Lagos state, to being at Old Trafford.

    Singer Adekunle Gold has characterised his music as “school fees” generating. 

    He explained in an interview with YouTuber, Tayo Aina that he works tirelessly to put out songs in a bid to provide quality education for his daughter and family which he described as his centre and happy place.

    He opened up on enduring a tough childhood, one he doesn’t desire his daughter experience.

    He admitted the great responsibilities that come with fatherhood and also his yearning to raise a queen propels him to dish out songs regularly.

    “Being a father is a huge responsibility that I love by the way. Knowing that I have a huge responsibility to raise a queen.

    “You know, my family is my center. Anywhere they are is my happy place.

    He added because he doesn’t have to explain his hectic schedule as often as he would otherwise, being married to an artiste has made his life easier.
