    BBNaija Season 9: 12 pairs up for possible eviction Sunday

    Big Brother Naija housemates are at the risk of eviction this week except for the NDI NNE duo and the BETA pair. 

    Big Brother has announced that on Sunday, the pair with the fewest votes will be evicted from the house.

    The NDI NNE duo, consisting of Chinne and Nne, won the Custodian Challenge on Sunday, granting them immunity from eviction and the power to influence nominations.

    The BETA pair, comprising Tjay and Ben, won the Immunity Challenge, securing their safety for the week.

    The remaining housemates are now in a precarious position, relying on viewer votes to save them from eviction.

    The pair with the lowest votes will be sent home on Sunday, marking the first eviction of the season.

    There’s ZinWe, the lovestruck couple;

    The Radicals, the self-proclaimed “virgins” relying on vibes;

    Floruish, the inseparable best friends on 10 years; and NdiNne, the aunt-niece duo bringing realness and authenticity.

    Aces, the unpredictable colleagues, are ready to shake things up,

    while Shatoria, the Dubai-connected friends, bring an international flair.

    Wanni X Handi, the identical twin DJs, are spinning their way into the competition,

    and BETA, the Instagram-connected friends, are betting on their bond.

    Mbadiwe Twins, another set of identical twins, are doubling the fun,

    while TAMI, the friendly duo, are open to new connections.

    Nelita, the long-time friends, are focused on the game, not romance,

    and Streeze, the university pals, are distracted only by beautiful ladies.

    Double Kay, the married couple, are hiding their relationship in plain sight,

    and Chekas, the strategic friends, are planning to steal the show.

    The highly anticipated Big Brother Naija Season 9 premieres today, Sunday, July 28, with a unique twist as housemates will compete in pairs.

    This season promises excitement, with the winning pair taking home a grand prize of N100 million.

    The first pair introduced is Chinwe and Zion, collectively known as ‘Zinwe’, followed by Michky and David, dubbed ‘Radicals’.

    Other pairs include DJ Flo and Rhuthee (Floruish), Chinne and Nne (Ndi Nne), Topher and Sooj (Aces), Victoria and Shaun (Shatoria), Wanni and Handi (Wanni x Handi), Tjay and Ben (Beta), Ocee and Ozee (Mbadiwe Twins), Toyosi and Damilola (Tami), Anita and Nelly (Nelita), Toby Forge and Mayor Frosh (Streeze), Kassia and Kellyrae (Doublekay), and Chizoba and Onyeka (Chekas).

    The ninth season, themed ‘No Loose Guard’, will run for 71 days, with cameras capturing the housemates’ every move 24/7.

    Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returns as the host of the show.
