Actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has announced plans to fund an IVF procedure for an individual, fulfilling a personal vow she made before the release of her 2025 film, Broken Hallelujah.

Although Broken Hallelujah has attracted over 11 million views on YouTube, she noted that another film released in December 2025, Where Love Lives, also performed strongly, which she described as an answer to her prayers.

“When I was about to release Broken Hallelujah I had a made a promise to God I said if I get certain number of view specially like 15-20million views, I was going to do something that will touch one person life . I want to pay for someone IVF procedure. In an Instagram post on Monday, Ademoye thanked her mother, friends, creative team, and especially her loyal online supporters, whom she fondly refers to as her “cyber family,” for their role in helping to take down the infringing content.

She wrote: “God don’t play about me, that’s how I know he’s real. I want to say a very big thank you to my mother @uduakisong1 for not resting till the issue was resolved. I love you forever mom. The issue stemmed from an individual using a fake alias Emmanuel Davies, who falsely claimed copyright over a song featured in the film.

The track, fully owned by Ademoye with the artist’s approval, was allegedly uploaded to platforms like Spotify under Davies’ name as composer.

Ademoye initially voiced her distress publicly, vowing legal action and demanding the claim’s immediate removal.

She described the ordeal as deeply upsetting, noting it left her in tears and unable to engage normally with supporters.

“Pls if you encountered me yesterday and I wasn’t smiling ,no vex abeg ,life and emmanuel Davies tried me. Anyways we’re still working on getting Emmanuel Davies( it’s a fake name by the way) Thank you sooooo much guys.

How my friend created fake account to troll me, by Actress Bimbo Ademoye

Popular actress and producer Bimbo Ademoye has opened up about a painful experience with a close friend who turned against her out of envy.

In a post on Instagram, Bimbo revealed that she once supported the friend, who aspired to become an actress, by buying her clothes, shoes, and bags to help her feel like a superstar at events.

Trouble was said to have started when the friend appeared at a movie premiere wearing the exact same dress as Bimbo, only in a different colour.

It was gathered that Bimbo’s sister later observed that the friend was always trying to compete with and outshine her, but Bimbo initially brushed off the warning.

She said that things escalated after she fell ill and distanced herself from the friend.

According to her, in retaliation, the friend allegedly created a fake Instagram account to send abusive messages to her then-boyfriend, claiming that the friend tried to flirt with him.

She said the friend also made moves to get romantically involved with her ex.

Ademoye wrote: “I remember I once had a friend who wanted to be an actor as well. Whenever we attended events, I’d shop for her as well, I’m talking about clothes, shoes, bags and all. I wanted her to look like the superstar she wanted to become. Mind you, I was already getting fame, because I already had movies like Sugar Rush, Looking for Baami, Backup Wife, and all, let me add that I had already been nominated twice for the AMVCA. One day, I had a premiere to attend, it was a movie I was in, and I played the lead role. My stylist had done fittings for me, like twice, in the presence of this friend.

“I had asked her what she was going to wear, and she was like “I don’t even know, maybe I’d just look casual chic” I responded with “Just look good, you can’t be my friend and look drab”. I got my makeup done, hair done, everything done. It was time to wear my dress. Tell me why Aunty pulled out the same exact dress I was wearing in another colour. In all honesty, I didn’t really mind. But my sister who has never been wrong said to me “preke I don’t thin that was ok, she should let you have your moment, she’s not even an actress yet, talk more of being in the film you’re for ” I told her ” naaah it’s not that serious bikesy”.

“It was as if something woke up in her that day, for every event we attended, she’d always want to dress or look more expensive, (which I didn’t mind ) ON MY TAB. then one day, I fell sick. Days turned to weeks, weeks to months, I didn’t see this aunty.

“So I took my L and cut her off. Tell me why this daughter of jezebel created a fake page on IG and started trolling me and sending messages to my boyfriend at the time saying all sorts. The crazīest part, she even tried to link up with him romantically”.
