    Bimbo Ademoye reacts to Toyin Abraham’s ‘hospital drama’

    Actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has playfully called out her colleague Toyin Abraham for pulling a hilarious prank on her.

    According to Bimbo, Toyin jokingly accused her of being uncaring after missing a phone call, claiming she was hospitalised and on oxygen.

    When Bimbo demanded video evidence, Toyin responded with a staged photo from a video call, featuring phone charger cables wrapped around her nose to mimic an oxygen tube, leaving Bimbo and fans in stitches.

    Sharing the hilarious moment on Instagram, she wrote: “Just because I missed & Toyin Abraham’s call once!! She started threatening me, saying i don’t care about her. I told this woman I’m on set and I cannot take calls. Next thing she says, ‘I’m in the hospital.’

    Ghanaian authorities respond to piracy claims by Nigerian filmmakers

    Ghana’s Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Sam George, has responded to allegations by Nigerian filmmakers, including Bimbo Ademoye and Omoni Oboli, over the unauthorized broadcast of their films on Ghanaian television stations.

    Addressing the concerns raised by Ademoye, George assured that the matter would be taken up with the minister responsible for TV content regulation. 

    He reaffirmed the Ghanaian government’s commitment to upholding intellectual property rights and promised appropriate measures would be taken to protect creators’ works.

    The minister also highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between Ghana and Nigeria’s film industries, pointing to the mutual benefits of increased collaboration.

    He wrote: “@bimboademoye, my attention has been drawn to your post thanks to the tag. I would be raising the issue with my Colleague Minister responsible for overseeing television content. I however wish to assure you that our government is very respectful of intellectual property rights and would ensure the protection of same. I believe Ghana and Nigeria have so much we can continue to collaborate on for our mutual benefit”.

    Additionally, Kafui Danku, CEO and Executive Secretary of the National Film Authority, responded to Bimbo Ademoye’s complaint, stating that she and her management are working to stop copyright infringement of creative works.

    Danku assured Ademoye that they would see definite actions in the coming weeks to address the issue.

    “Hi ma’am, my management and I are working

     on putting a stop to this. You should see definite actions in a couple of weeks”, she wrote.

    Actress and producer Bimbo Ademoye has expressed her frustration over the unauthorised use of her movie title and poster by some YouTube channels.

    On her Instagram page, Ademoye revealed that the channels in question had stolen her content, prompting her to take swift action.

    She vowed to report the offending channels and collaborate with the appropriate authorities to have them taken down.

    She wrote: “Enough is enough!!!. I hate that I have to do this, but my blood, sweat, tears , hard work, money, sleepless nights will not be enjoyed by someone else!. As it is now there are already 2 channels that have stolen my title and my poster for about 2-3 days now , they’re Nollynew series TV and Nolly specials. (Guys pls help me report their channels) . It is very unfair , that we’d work ,day and night and one evil demon would come and reap where they didn’t sow. This time I will not take it.

    According to Bimbo, her father surprised her with five kegs of fuel and a full generator.

    Ademoye expressed her gratitude and admiration for her father.

    She then addressed her future husband, stating that she isn’t asking for much, but appreciates small gestures.

    Actress and producer Bimbo Ademoye has shared her concerns about parenting and the importance of safeguarding children.

    In a post, she expressed gratitude to fans who related to her movie “Shining Star,” which tackled themes of child abuse and trauma.

    Despite receiving backlash from some viewers who found the story unrealistic, Ademoye emphasised the importance of vigilance in parenting.

    She wrote: “Posted this on my story and thought to bring it on here. Saw this on @lindaikejiblogofficial and got a number of
    tags from people saying it reminded them of
    “SHINING STAR”.

    “I was shocked I won’t lie. I remember when shining star aired, I got a number of backlash on how the movie wasn’t “realistic ” Some said it didn’t “make sense” ,story line no follow, how would an 11 year old boy hide a body, how would he even think about it.

    “Someone even said lopeda talked too much. Asin a 12 vear old talked too much. A number of people didn’t like it because it wasn’t happily ever after.
