    Bnxn apologises for issues at December show

    Daniel Etiese Benson aka Bnxn has apologised to fans for the issues that prevented some fans and ticket holders at his ‘The Captain Experience,’ in Lagos on December 19, 2025.

    The show was part of Iconiq Fest at the Landmark Event Centre, featuring live music, guest artists, and high energy, though it faced some organization issues with entry.

    In his response to the issues that prevented fans with tickets from accessing the venue of the show, Bnxn said, “The show organizers prioritized profit over the safety of the fans and it should never have been so. I am so sorry to everyone who had valid entries and still couldn’t make it into the show.”

    He further went on to note that he would never put his fans or music lovers in such a situation.

    “I’d never want to put anyone that loves me or my music in that kind of reckless position and I  sincerely apologize,” he said.

    The student reached out to Bnxn on X, sharing a screenshot of his school dashboard displaying the outstanding amount and his mobile banking number.

    He pleaded for assistance with his registration fees under one of BNXN’s posts.

    BNXN responded with a simple “Done”.

    The grateful student expressed appreciation, stating: “Received, wow! I’m so grateful. I’m truly humbled by your kindness. Your support will help me pursue my passion.”

    “I pray you succeed ahead of your peers in all ramifications. Thank you for making good music; you’re an inspiration!!! Ka sha miliki.”

    ‘I hate bullies’, says BNXN amid online feud with Dremo

    Singer BNXN, formerly known as Buju, has vehemently expressed his disdain for bullies amid a heated exchange with rapper Dremo.

    The confrontation began when BNXN responded to a troll by taking a swipe at Dremo, who promptly retaliated by calling Buju a “bowling pin.”

    Buju, unfazed, responded by emphasising his pure heart and lack of ill intentions towards anyone, attributing his blessings to his good intentions.

    In a scathing follow-up post, Buju made his feelings about bullies clear, describing them as “spineless, pathetic, unfiltered, and uncultured swine.”

    He said: “God knows my heart is pure and I no wish any man bad that’s why he keeps helping me when I call him.

    Singer BNXN has shared one of his life regrets after he stumbled on an old DM request from American Electronic duo, The Chainsmokers and rapper, 21 Savage.

    The singer, who rebranded from Buju to Bnxn, on his Snapchat page shared snapshots of unexpected message requests he missed.

    One of the snapshots dated 2022 was a chat from the American electronic duo, The Chainsmokers applauding his style of music and hoping to collaborate.

    The chat reads: “Yo my guy! Huge fans here! We want to send you some tunes maybe see if we can get a big one together! Happy to email or text or have our manager hit yours.”

    21 Savage also reached out to the Nigerian singer but both DM requests were missed until now.

    Reacting to losing both offers, Bnxn stated that he would take his Instagram DM request more seriously.

    “I need to check my messages more smh. Like SMH. Wetin I dey do??” he captioned the snapshots.

    Singer Chukwuka Chukwuma Ekweani, popularly known as CKay, has explained the unclear collaboration saga with colleague, BNXN, fka Buju.

    Ckay during an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, said that his 2023 hit song, ‘Hallelujah’ originally featured Seyi Vibez and BNXN but it was a version with Blaqbonez that was eventually released.

    He explained that BNXN requested to be taken off from the song while Seyi Vibez’s management failed to clear up his verse.

    The ‘Love Nwantiti’ crooner said he doesn’t know why BNXN demanded to be dropped from the song.

    CKay said he doesn’t regret releasing the version with Blaqbonez, stressing that it was a hit.
