    Stop selling fake drinks, you’re killing us – BNXN warns clubs

    Singer, Daniel Benson, popularly called BNXN, has come heavily on social clubs that sell “fake” drinks to desist from the crime or else face his wrath.

    BNXN lamented that he recently paid for a drink at a Lagos club and a “fake” one was delivered to him.

    He threatened to call out any club or lounge that sells “fake” drinks to him.

    On his X handle on Sunday, BNXN wrote: “Stop selling us fake drinks after spending so much money on overpriced drinks. You’re killing us.

    “Respect my health , Respect my money. Give me what I pay for. If you don’t have it , don’t bring a fake one!

    “The next club or lounge that does this to me , I promise i will take that microphone from the hypeman and let you know!”

    Afro-fusion singer, Daniel Benson aka BNXN has said he was heartbroken when he birthed his new album, Sincerely, Benson’. 

    He stated this when he appeared in an interview with Apple Music Africa Now Radio. 

    BNXN is one of the Nigerian artists whose music draws from his emotions. In the interview, he shared that his debut LP ‘Sincerely, Benson’ was inspired by a heartbreak he experienced.

    “True story: I was in love when I was in this project. I was so heartbroken when I made this project because I had just left a relationship. I know that I was the one that really caused wha happened, but it’s like… how do you really tell someone you’re sorry if you can’t own up to it and accept it? That was one of the themes that inspired the project.”

    On the content in the album, BNXN said that the songs are crafted to offer different songs that connect with the sensitivities of different listeners.

    “This album itself encompasses so much emotion, especially if you can relate or you understand. Also, there is still a need for you to feel good and dance and vibe. It’s why songs like ‘GWAGWALADA’, ‘Mukulu’, and ‘Right Energy’ are on there. It kind of gives you this sense where yeah, we’re about to sink into a project full of emotions, but I also want you people to feel good, you know? I feel like this is such a perfect project, it has everything,” he added. 

    Following his release, BNXN is gearing up for his North America tour where he will be performing songs from his new album.

    Popular Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson aka BNXN, has revealed that he stopped singing when he gained admission into the university.

    He said listening to Burna Boy and British rapper J Hus’s songs inspired his return to doing music.

    The ‘Pray’ crooner disclosed this in Hip TV’s programme, Trending, hosted by reality star, KimOprah.

    BNXN said: “When I got into the university, I dropped everything that had to do with music. What inspired me to go back to doing music was that I started listening to Burna Boy and J Hus. I started listening to real music. And I was like, I think I can do this.”

    He added that his peers also played a huge role in his decision to go back into doing music.

    Rave singer Daniel Benson aka BNXN has recounted how a lady tried blackmailing him with a fake pregnancy after he had a one-night stand with her.

    The ‘Pray’ crooner said the lady claimed she was pregnant for him after they had a one-night stand and proceeded to blackmail after he refused her demand for money. 

    He narrated this in the latest episode of the Moni Talks podcast.

    According to BNXN: “Somebody came out to lie that she’s pregnant for me. I’m still waiting for the child. I was like, ‘Goddamn, girl, that was too far.’ It was blackmail. She wanted to blackmail me. She wanted me to send her money, and when I refused, she posted some weird pictures of me.

    “I didn’t know the person, it was just a one-night stand, but it just came back to bite me in the *ss. Yeah, people get pregnant from one-night stands. But we are still waiting on the baby. It’s like over a year.”

    The singer, while commending his team for the way they handled the scandal, wondered why blackmailers go scot-free.
