    Meeting Chris Brown changed my life – Davido

    Grammy-nominated singer Davido has credited American R&B singer Chris Brown with significantly impacting his career after they met in 2018.

    Speaking in a recent episode of the Bagfuel Brigade podcast, Davido said it all started when a Nigerian friend of Brown’s, who was one of his closest friends, called Davido on Facetime while at Brown’s house.

    According to the ‘Feel’ crooner, his song was playing in the background and when he asked where his friend was, he was told he was at Chris Brown’s house and showed him a video of Brown dancing to his song.

    After the short encounter, Davido travelled to America and met Chris Brown in person.

    He said: “Meeting Chris Brown changed my life. I met him in 2018. He had a Nigerian friend, one of his best friends.

    “The friend called me one day on Facetime and my song was playing at the background, I asked where he was and he said he was at Chris Brown’s house. I was like, ‘What? Y’all playing my music?’ And he showed me Chris dancing to my song.

    “He gave Chris Brown the phone, that was the first time we had a conversation. A few months later, I went to America and linked up with Chris. From the first time we met, we just naturally became friends.”

    Davido Congratulates Tems, Chris Brown on Grammy wins

    Music superstar Davido has congratulated Tems and Chris Brown on their respective wins at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.

    Tems, who won the award for Best African Music Performance, was nominated alongside Davido, Asake, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Yemi Alade, among other talented African artists.

    On his social media, Davido praised Tems, calling her the “Queen” and expressing his pride in her achievement.

    Meanwhile, Chris Brown won the award for Best R&B Album for his project ’11:11 (Deluxe)’.

    Davido, who collaborated with Chris Brown on the track “Sensational”, congratulated the American singer on his win.

    Davido’s congratulatory message reads: “Congratulations to my one and only ! @chrisbrown ! And to the Queen @temsbaby we are proud of you!”

    Grammy-nominated singer Davido has stated that American artists Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj have a profound respect for Africa’s music and culture.

    In a recent interview with Hot 107.9 FM in Atlanta, Davido disclosed that both artists prefer to incorporate Afrobeats into their collaborations with him, rather than adhering to traditional Western styles.

    He said this was evident in his recent collaboration with Nicki Minaj, “If It’s Okay,” which features a strong Afrobeats influence.

    “My recent collaboration with Nicki Minaj, ‘If It’s Okay,’ has a lot of Afrobeats influence because she wanted full African flavour on it. These days, foreign artists want to do our musical styles, so it is easier for me to work with them.

    “When we were recording ‘Sensational’ with Chris Brown, I was trying to make it American, but he insisted I include Afrobeats. He asked me to sing in Pidgin. My dancers were the video vixens in ‘Sensational.’ They even went on tour with Chris Brown. Chris Brown loves African culture, and Nicki does too”, he said.

    Chris Brown, in particular, has demonstrated his love for African culture through his numerous collaborations with African artists, including Davido, Wizkid, Rema, Fireboy, and Lojay.

    He has also toured with Ayra Starr and South Africa’s Tyla, further showcasing his appreciation for African talent.

    Famous American singer Chris Brown has expressed deep gratitude to Grammy award winner Wizkid, calling him his “brother for life” for his kindness and support. 

    In a post shared by LuthorTV, Brown recounted how Wizkid invited him to perform at his O2 Arena concert in London in 2021, marking Brown’s first performance in the UK in a decade.

    Chris Brown, who had been touring extensively in the U.S. but had not been able to perform in the UK due to a ban stemming from his 2009 conviction for assaulting Rihanna, was amazed by Wizkid’s generosity. 

    He revealed that Wizkid covered all his expenses for the concert, saying, “Wizkid invited me to my biggest stage in the UK in 10 years… He paid for everything, and I was wowed.”

    Brown’s appreciation highlights the bond between the two artists, with Brown acknowledging Wizkid’s significant role in his return to the UK stage.

    Famous American R&B singer, Chris Brown has claimed that he has about 15,000 unreleased songs.

    The ‘Under The Influence’ crooner disclosed this in a recent episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast.

    He said he has a studio in his house, which makes it easier for him to record every inspiration.

    “I have about 15,000 unreleased songs. On my phone alone, in certain apps, I have 18,000. There was a point where I used to stay in the studio, like when I was doing a lot of my earlier albums. 

    “Now, I have a studio in my house because I can draw inspiration faster, like if I get an idea for a song, I don’t have to go to the studio outside my house,” Chris Brown said.

    He said he records songs every day at times doing as many as four or more songs per day.

    Popular Canadian singer, Justin Bieber has reacted to the allegation of rape surrounding his mentor, Chris Brown.

    Few moments after Chris Brown posted a video of himself dancing, captioned ‘we working’, Justin wrote: ‘No one can touch you, your the GOAT.’

    It is a known fact that Chris Brown and Justin Bieber have been friends from way back.

    Another of Brown’s friends, Nick Cannon, wrote in the comment section: ‘Stay Focused King!’ with a smiley of praying hands.

    This came after Brown angrily denied that he raped a 24-year-old model during a drug-fueled party in his five star hotel in Paris.

    The singer has said he plans to sue the model for defamation, after he was released from prison on Tuesday without charge after being held for questioning overnight in Paris.

    Officially reacting to the allegations, in an already deleted post on instagram, Chris Brown posted an image, on it was written “THIS B!TCH LYIN’” and in the caption, he wrote:

    “I wanna make it perfectly clear, this is false and a whole lot of cap. For my daughter and family, this is so disrespectful and is against my character and morals”.
