    Men God sent as providers are asking to split bills – Doyin

    Reality TV star Doyinsola David, popularly known as Doyin, has expressed shock at the sudden shift of gender roles, particularly the change in modern relationships.

    Doyin via Snapchat questioned the current expectation of splitting bills in relationships, expressing disbelief that men, who historically were seen as providers, are now advocating for a more balanced and equal approach to financial responsibilities.

    She questioned how men can claim to be the “man” in the relationship while simultaneously pushing for a 50-50 split on expenses.

    She also pointed out that while she doesn’t mind taking her man out, it becomes a concern when it comes to individuals who are just getting to know her.

    She suggested that if a man expects her to contribute financially early in the relationship, he might find himself asking for fuel money or transportation fare.

    In her words: “Who’s gonna help us women inform the lord that the men he sent as providers have abandoned their duty ooo….now they wanna split bills with us.

    “You wanna be the man but you still want us to split bills on a date??? Lol
    I have no problem taking my man out but not a nigga that’s trying to talk to me.

    “You might as well ask me to fuel your car or send you tfare na….so I can spank your ass when I walk pass and you respond by calling me daddy, since you wanna be a lady”.

    Big Brother Naija reality star Doyin David has alerted the public of a death threat from a BBNaija fanatic.

    According to the sender of the message, she has been calling Doyin but she refused to pick.

    The sender further stated that he has information about Doyin in terms of her house address and where she mostly hangs out.

    The sender further threatened to kill Doyin adding that she will feel the pain before she dies.

    “Have been calling you and you are not picking your call. No problem. I just want to let you know that all your information is with us, where you live and including where you are right now. We are watching you. I promise you I will kill you and I will make sure you feel the pain before I will kill you. Mark my words,” the message reads.

    Big Brother Naija All-stars winner Ilebaye has thanked Doyin for being a good friend to her in the house.

    The 22-year-old reality was faced with a challenging question about her former colleagues during a recent interview with Pulse Nigeria.

    The host asked Ilebaye to name a housemate she could barely stand following her experience in Biggie’s house.

    The self-styled GenZ baddie cracked her head for a while and after being unable to list them all out, she gave a general response.

    “I’d say I don’t have one, they are a lot; so I can’t mention because they are a lot,” she stated.

    In another question, she was asked to say something about her fellow ex-housemate, Doyin.

    “I would love to thank Doyin for standing by me. You were a good friend and I must say thank you,” she responded.

    Big Brother Naija All-Stars housemate Doyin has thrown more light to the fight with Pere in the house.

    Speaking with Pulse, Doyin said she was more like the only target.

    Doyin’s fight with Pere kick-started when the latter denied saying some certain things concerning his love triangle between KimOprah and Cross.

    She also said she was noy afraid when he threw a wall-breaking punch inches away from her.

    According to her: “I didn’t think he would actually hit me. I don’t think Pere is an abusive person at all, I don’t think he had the intention to come at me. I think he got there and he just got really aggravated”.

    Doyin, who was evicted last Sunday, expressed regrets about the eviction, wishing she stayed back to see Venita’s response to the audacious statement.

    She explained further that the outburst was because she had noticed some character traits and felt the need to address them.

    Contrary to her comments, in the house about Ilebaye being intentional about her controversial strategy, Doyin retracted it with the argument that she wasn’t in control of certain situations that occurred. In her words, “There were certain things that were out of her control, so she did not make those situations happen. I can’t say she is really playing a game. Things just worked in her favour,” she said.

    She said she was very vocal, stressing that she was the kind of person the reality show needs but the fans disappointed by failing to save her through votes.

    Doyin was evicted during the live show on Sunday after securing the least votes among the housemates put up for possible eviction.

    Doyin,via a chat with the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Africa Magic YouTube channel on Monday, Doyin said she already dreamt about her eviction but was hoping “Nigerians would be smarter this time” to save her.

    Evicted Big Brother Naija All-Stars housemate, Doyin has named the season’s likely winner.

    In a trending video on the TikTok, Doyin predicted Ilebaye as the number one housemate of the season, hinting that she might emerge winner of the show.

    Second on her intriguing list of top housemates was Adekunle with Cee C, Mercy Eke and Soma following behind.

    Doyin’s eviction closed the elimination rounds last week, and her exit shocked the All Stars housemates.

    As Ebuka called for her to be evicted, she smiled like she saw it coming.

    Doyin was the least of the bottom three housemates with 17.00%. White money came in second with 17.22% and Venita as top with 26.16%.

    Kim Oprah was also evicted during the live show. However, the former beauty queen came in as one of the houseguests of the season.

    Doyin disclosed this after her eviction on Sunday.

    She said although she was mentally exhausted at the house, she would have loved to be a finalist.

    When asked about her friends in the house, she mentioned Ceec and Alex.

    “Honestly, I was tired of the house even though it’d have been nice to get to the finals.

    ”I was mentally exhausted. I think it’s my sharp mouth that makes the other housemates not have my back in the house. Ceec and I are friends. I love Alex. I don’t know about Ilebaye,” she said.

    Big Brother Naija All-Stars housemate Pere Egbi said for Doyin’s sake he would have taken a voluntary exit if he was a girl. 

    Pere said he would have slapped Doyin three times then exit the reality shoe thereafter.

    The Nation reported that Pere and Doyin have been at loggerheads after the parrot exposed a conversation on Thursday where someone called him a weakling, of which he suspects Doyin to be the speaker.

    In a chat with Cross and KimOprah on Friday, Pere said Doyin deserved to be beaten to a stupor.

    He said: “If I were a girl, I would’ve slapped Doyin three times and leave this house. That girl deserves to be beaten to a stupor. She is large-mouthed, speaks from two sides of her mouth. I’m a guy, so there are certain things I just can’t do.

    Big Brother Naija All-Stars housemate Pere Egbi shed tears after a fellow housemate Doyin called him a weakling during a conversation.

    This conversation was revealed by Biggie’s in-house parrot right after the housemate returned from the arena. 

    One of the conversations was among Ceec, Mercy and Doyin who talked about the triangle between Pere, Kim, and Cross.

    Doyin allegedly called Pere a weakling, a development did not sit well with Pere who broke down in tears.

    The chaos of the parrot’s revelation brought tears to Pere’s eyes, and as he let them flow, Alex, Angel, Sholzy, and Venita comforted him.

    Sholzy said: “A strong man is not bound by emotions.”

    Doyin also stopped by to let him know that nobody called him a ‘weakling.’

    Unfortunately, their words held no comfort for the general who declared that the house was about to hate him more than before.

    According to him:  “I am about to unleash hell on some certain individuals, and I will do it calmly.” 

    He also told Neoenergy that the tears were a result of him being extremely angry.

    Big Brother Naija All-Stars housemate Doyin David has discussed the abusive traits of fellow housemate Venita towards her.

    Doyin, while having her diary session with Biggie, revealed that Venita had been trying to provoke her by calling her names and making hurtful comments about her appearance, disregarding the fact that no one has control over their looks.

    Doyin went on to tell Big Brother that she had been called “skinny” and “dry” by the female housemate but she has chosen to remain composed because she doesn’t want to come across as a victim to the viewers.

    Doyin stated: “It’s not fair for somebody to be picking on me. It’s not fair I’m not trying to be a victim. I said I’m not going to cry during this diary session, so it’s not like I’m looking for pity.”

    “I’m not looking for pity, I’m just saying, I just at it to be clear that there is a girl this going on in this house. Please that think there are other people that don’t deserve to be in the same space with me and I’m not here for that.”

    “I’m not going to have it. Nobody is going to make me feel like they can bully me in this house. If I can stand up for those people, best believe I can stand up for myself.”

    “She talks about the way I look, she says things like ‘oh she’s skinny‘, ‘oh that’s why you’re dry’, ‘Only God knows the disease Wey you dey carry Wey you dey carry‘.”

    The statement of Doyin has attracted the attention of individuals who have stormed the comment page to air their views about what she said during her diary session.

    Tobiloba_O: “Doyin o, no vex. But be ready to accept what you give, that’s all.”

    @ekynwamma: “She used Ike’s insecurities to haunt him and she’s here looking for pity. Hypocrite!”

    @Mrcells: “I don’t feel for the both of them when they have a go at each other cos their mouths no good at all! They deserve each other.”
