    Understanding the miracle power of love! (2)

    Last week, I showed you what qualifies one for divine encounters, three categories of love recognized in scriptures and the proofs of being in love. This week, I will be showing you what love is in our context and how great is the virtue of love.

    What is love in this context?

    If you don’t know what love is, you will not know when it is at work in you.

    •Love can be defined as a God-first lifestyle: Tis simply means, God having the first place in all your considerations. The “God-first lifestyle” is loving God with all your heart, soul and mind (Matthew 22:36-40). When you make room for God first, you become a man and a woman wondered at.

    •It is a Kingdom priority lifestyle: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). What Jesus meant was, “Seek ye first the advancement, promotion and expansion of the Kingdom – in righteousness not faking it, and all these things that others are dying to get, shall be added unto you.” So, when the law of love is fulfilled, the blessings of Deuteronomy 28:1-12 flows natural into your life.

    •Love is identifying with Jesus: Love is publicly identifying with Christ and His Word, wherever you find yourself (Mark 8:38). When you are truly in love with God, you will identify with Him openly, publicly and “everywherely.”

    •It is placing God above all else, including self: Whosoever does not love God more than his father, mother, children and his own life, is not truly in love and is not fit to be His disciple (Luke 14:26-27). When you come to the point where you place God above all else, including self, you are set to be released as a wonder to your world.

    •Love is, loving what God loves: God’s greatest love is the salvation of souls (2 Peter 3:9). When you are truly in love, you are never ashamed of telling people about Jesus.

    How great is this virtue of Love?

    •Love is failure-proof: Charity never faileth… (1 Cor.13:8). Love never fails, because God is love. That is what makes love a failure-proof virtue.

    •Love makes you indestructible: Whatever will destroy a certified and genuine lover, will have to destroy God first. Fire cannot destroy Him, because He is a Consuming Fire (Deut. 9:3). God is the Fire that consumes fire; so when you walk in His love, you become indestructible!

    •Love makes you fearless: Fear is what makes a prey of believers. It is what opens the door to your tormentors, and robs you of your God–ordained victory. But when the love of God overwhelms you, you become fearless (1 John 4:18-20; Heb.2:14-15).

    •Love guarantees instant answers to prayers: Every anointed lover enjoys the blessedness of instant answers to prayers (1 John 3:22-23).

    •Love is a booster of supernatural intelligence: When you are in love, you access the realms of surpassing intelligence and mental prowess (Proverbs 8:15-16).

    •Every lover of God is supernaturally Joyful: One of the great virtues of this love is supernatural joy unspeakable, full of glory. If you are not joyful, you are not in love (Psalm 119:164; James 5:13; Philippians 4:4).

    •It engenders supernatural breakthroughs: As you perfect your love for God, you will begin to command unlimited breakthroughs naturally (Deut. 28:1-12).

    Friend, the power to benefit from the virtues of love is available, if you are born again. You get born again by confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. If you are set for this new birth experience, please say this prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. I cannot help myself. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan, to serve the Living God. Lord Jesus, today, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now I know I am born again! I will continue next week.

    Living Faith: Securing your high places (2)

    Last week, I said you should not lean on your own understanding, because you have no access to the future. Only God knows the end from the beginning. In all your ways, acknowledge that God is the only One who knows tomorrow.

    We looked at what makes God’s leading. When God leads, He goes before the led(Isaiah 45:1-3), He goes with the led (Matthew 28:20), He works with the led (Mark 16:20), He works through the led (John 14:10),He protects the led (Exodus 23:20) and He works for the led (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

    In continuation of our subject matter, this week, I shall be looking at your fruitfulness, when God is the One leading you. The Word of God says: Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you or among your cattle (Deuteronomy 7:14). This means, you shall be fat and flourishing; you shall be fruitful beyond bearing children. You will be scaling heights in businesses, careers and everything about you will be fruitful.

    Recognize that every seed of Abraham is ordained for all-round fruitfulness. It is important to become knowledgeable of God’s will to flourish on all sides. You become defeated in life, when you lack the knowledge of His will concerning you.

    God’s Word says: And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out (Isaiah 48:21).When you subscribe to God’s leadings and instructions, you are on your way to greatness. Then, you will realize that there is nothing in any far country that compares with what is in your God. He has given to you everything you will ever need (Deuteronomy 32:9-14; 2 Peter 1:3).

    HOW GOD LEADS US:

    •Through Rhema: This is the voice of the Spirit. Any time you say,‘God said,’ it is the Spirit of God speaking to you on God’s behalf.Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

    He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you(John 16:13-14).

    Every child of God has access to His voice, but your spiritual ears must be open to hear Him, because He is the voice of the Spirit.Therefore, you must become a man of the Spirit, to connect with it (Isaiah 42:18-24).

    •Through the Voice behind the Word:God’s Word is God’s voice in print (Isaiah 34:16). Every Word of the scripture is as commanded and inspired by God. So, behind every statement of the scripture is God’s voice, which places you in command of every situation (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

    •Through Heavenly Visions: The Lord guides you through heavenly pictures interpreted by Him. It takes a man of the Spirit, who lives and works by the Spirit to encounter visions from the Lord (Revelation 4:1).

    Friend, the power to be led by God is available, if you are born again. You are born again by confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. If you are set for this new birth experience, please say this prayer: Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I cannot help myself. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan, to serve the Living God. From today, I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Thank You for saving me. Now I know I am born again!

    The Platform For Divine Restoration!

    Restoration is a desire of life, but it can only be accessed through revelation. You need to understand that revelation is the gateway to your inheritance.

    God’s Word says: According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3). Your restoration heritage is guaranteed in Christ, but it is your insight that defines the limit of access to your inheritance.

    Therefore, get excited at the Word because revelation is the gateway to your inheritance.

    The Root Of Your Restoration Heritage: Your restoration heritage is built on three platforms:

    •Redemption (John 10:10): Every child of God is ordained for manifold supernatural restoration.

    •The Abrahamic Covenant: By redemption, you are a seed of Abraham (Galatians 3:29). Being a seed of Abraham, you are entitled to the blessings of Abraham (Genesis 12:3).

    •The End-time Prophetic Agenda (Joel 2:24-26): God’s end-time prophetic agenda confers on you restoration rights. Therefore, restoration is a vital aspect of God’s end-time agenda and we are the end-time saints.

    Scriptural Steps To Double Portion Restoration:

    Restoration is God’s agenda, but what does it take to access God’s restoration package? Job is a classic example of double restoration (Job 42:10). What were the steps that led to his restoration?

    •Repentance (Job 42:6): Repentance is vital in your bid to experience true restoration. Job suddenly discovered that he opened the door to the devil through fear. Whatever goes wrong in a man’s life is traceable to him. Every access the devil has to your life, is as permitted by you. Therefore, give no place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27).

    •Love (Job 2:9-10): Job was an addicted lover of God in spite of all his challenges. His three friends mocked him; yet, love moved him to pray for them. Your genuine love for God will flow to all men, including those who hurt you (1 John 4:20-21). It was after Job’s demonstration of love that God restored him. Job was a lover of God with proofs to show. You cannot turn your back on the God of restoration and experience restoration.

    •Revelation (Job 23:10): Revelation is the gateway to manifold restoration (Proverbs 6:30-31). Job was a man of deep revelation, which launched him into realms of double restoration. He knew his change was coming (Job 14:14). Your inheritance is only deliverable by revelation (Isaiah 60:1-3).

    •Faith (Job 13:15-16): Faith is a vital key to accessing your restoration package from God. Job’s faith was unwavering and his trust was total. The deeper your revelation, the stronger your trust in God. If you drop your faith, you have closed the door to your restoration. What you do not believe, you cannot be empowered to become (Luke 1:45).

    •Prayer and Fasting (Isaiah 58:6-10): Prayer and fasting is a powerful platform to violently access and take delivery of your restoration. You engage in spiritual warfare through prayer and fasting, to destroy the hold of the wicked over what belongs to you (Luke 11:21-22).

    Friend, the grace to enjoy divine restoration is available, if you are a child of God. You become a child of God by confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. You can be a child of God now by saying this prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I cannot help myself. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You, for saving me! Now, I know I am born again! I will continue with this teaching next week.

  • Living Faith: Enjoying Divine Visitation! (4)

    Last week, I showed you how to access divine ideas, to enjoy divine manifestation. This week, I will be showing you how God can bless you through the works of your hand.

    Diligence is one of the responsibilities you must accept, if you must access the blessings of God in your life. Diligence or hard work is a major ingredient for the blessings of God and for your all-round success in life.

    God’s Word says: …Whatsoever he doeth shall prosper (Psalm 1:3). Indeed, there is no substitute for hard work, if you want to enjoy the blessings of God. It is these blessings that will make you a success in life. There is profit in every labour (Proverbs 14:23). When you labour through the work of your hand, you automatically provoke God’s blessings upon your life. There are no two ways about it!

    Every destiny decays in the hands of laziness, idleness and slothfulness. Just as success and God’s blessings are as a result of diligence, failure comes through slothfulness (Ecclesiastes 10:18). The blessings of God will elude you, unless your hands are set to work. Until your hands become working hands, your life will not become a working life, for work is what determines your worth in life.

    There is abundance in God’s destiny for you, but the work you do with your hands is the avenue through which it will come. Even though God had promised to make Abraham great, we saw Abraham getting busy with rearing cattle, even at an advanced age of 75. He knew that the only way God would bless him was through the works of his hands.

    The blessings of God never eluded Abraham, because he put his hands to work. No wonder, God’s Word says: And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold (Genesis 13:2). God confirmed his blessings upon his life, through the works of his hand.

    When your hands are slack, poverty is sure to come your way (Proverbs 10:4). If you want to enjoy God’s blessings, then you must put your hands to work. God’s Word says: The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat (Proverbs 10:4). Failure becomes your heritage, only when your hands refuse to work. It takes diligence to become successful and to enjoy God’s blessings.

    Your disobedience to God’s command to work, is what is making you to spend countless and needless hours in laborious prayers (Proverbs 22:29). A student who would not study for his examination, but spends hours praying, will still end up a failure.

    You commit God to your matter, when you diligently operate covenant principles. Diligence is one of the principles for enjoying God’s blessings on earth. If you don’t work, you can’t climb unto you covenant throne of success. For instance, Jesus, the Son of God says: I must work (John 9:4). He did not stop there, He also said: My Father worketh hitherto, and I work (John 5:17).

    From the above, you can see that God the Father is working; Jesus the Son and Messiah is also working. Who then are you taking after, if you go about wasting your life through laziness and idleness? Work authenticates faith (James 2:18). Faith is not what God will do, but acting on what God says in order to establish the desires of your heart. Do you want God’s blessings? Then listen to what He says you should do to qualify for His blessings. What does He say? Work! You are either a worker or you are worthless! So, to enjoy God’s visitation in your life, you must work!

    Work is of God; hard work is His will. When you spend time praying for His blessings without working, you are not praying according to the will of God. The effect is that you won’t get any answer. But when you do what He tells you to do, a miracle answers to you automatically.

    Hard work keeps you healthy. Since the day I started working full-time in ministry, I work for an average of 18 hours each day, and I am living the healthiest life. My body is as strong as stone, and all my organs are functioning very well! You are created to work; when you are not working, you are wearing out. Nothing works until you work it! If you are not a worker, you will end up begging!

    Friend, the power to put your hands to work is available, if you are born again. You are born again by confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

  • Commanding Supernatural Success! (3)

    Welcome to your regular column. Last week, I taught on how love enthrones, the proofs of a true heart for God and why love is fundamental for outstanding success. This week, I will be teaching on another Biblical law of success – The Law Of Divine Ideas.

    Divine ideas are divine treasures of unusual values. Divine ideas are far above natural and intellectual ideas. They are not mere religious philosophies. Every empire is built on ideas. If natural ideas built empires, then divine ideas will build super empires.

    A business empire was built by a man called Job. He built that empire by divine ideas. As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle (Job 29:4). He became the greatest of all men in the East, because he was operating from an idea, which is from above (John 3:31).

    Joseph, by divine ideas, was able to discover a means of preserving food that would endure for 14 years, without the use of chemicals. He took over the most powerful nation in those days, by accessing divine ideas. Divine ideas will build super empires!

    By divine ideas, we are told that Isaac sowed in that land (Genesis 26:12-14). He waxed great, went forward, became very great and the Philistines envied him. He commanded enviable success, by trading divine ideas. Divine idea is eternally superior to every other form of idea.

    Channels Of Divine Ideas:

    • The channel of meditation: Meditation is a channel for accessing divine inspiration, because every idea is a product of inspiration. Let us first understand that every child of God possesses a unique mind (2 Corinthians 5:17).

    What is that mind worth?

    It’s a creative mind: It was by the wisdom of God at work in Christ that the world was created, and you have that in you (John 1:3). The Bible called that mind a sound mind. We all came down with a natural mind, but at redemption, our natural mind was replaced with a sound mind. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Even though you have a sound mind, you need to engage it and one of the channels of engagement is meditation (Psalms 119:97-99).

    What is inspiration? Inspiration can be defined as the movement of the Spirit of the Living God in your mental region, engaging the Spirit of God in motion in your faculty.

    Every problem has a solution with God, but in most cases, you access this solution through the art of meditation. You allow the Spirit of God to move in your mental region in sourcing solutions to bugging issues. We see a graphic illustration in the life of the prodigal son. The Bible says: And when he came to himself… (Luke 15:17). This man came to himself and reasoned his way back to honour.

    You need to set time apart to think through scriptures, with the help of the Holy Ghost, to know the next appropriate step to take to recover your colour and beauty and to sustain them.

    • The practice of quietness: This implies practical quietness. And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you… (1 Thessalonians 4:11). The practice of quietness provides access to divine ideas (Proverbs 18:1).

    Isaac understood the mystery of separation and came up with the idea of irrigation, and became the bread winner of the most powerful nation in the world (Genesis 26).

    Let’s practise quietness (Psalms 46:10). We need to engage the practice of quietness in our quest to access divine ideas. You need some form of quietness, not just in separation to a place, but in a quiet spirit, longing to access heaven’s light on issues of concern to you.

    • Divine ideas will flow through a heart of love: Divine idea that causes men to excel is contactable by love. God’s love qualifies you to access every idea relevant to the challenges of your life. The love of God connects you to it.

    Solomon was a man of love (1Kings 3:3). The Bible says that God gave him largeness of heart, as much as the sand that was by the seashore.

    • You access divine secrets by prayer: Daniel accessed divine secrets by prayer (Daniel 2:19). That secret could only have come from heaven. When that idea landed on the earth, it established a throne for him.

    • By Operating the Joy of the Lord as a lifestyle: The joy of the Lord is one of the vital channels of divine ideas (Isaiah 12:3). To encounter divine ideas, you must be joyful. Divine ideas will flow through the channel of joy.

    One of the most excited slaves that ever walked the planet earth was Joseph. He was full of inexplicable joy. His countenance was a cheerful one. A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance…(Proverbs 15:13). No wonder, God passed a divine idea through him (Genesis 41:39). Divine idea enthroned him over an empire!

    • Mystery of Tithing: Tithing, by enabling the flow of divine ideas, opens up your heavens. When you are a tither, you open your heavens for the flow of divine ideas. Committed tithers are natural beneficiaries of divine ideas. God opens the heavens and pours out the anointing that makes them of quick understanding. They become supernaturally smart in dealing with the affairs of their businesses, careers and their finances (Malachi 3:10).

    Tithing opened Jacob’s life into a realm of divine ideas (Genesis 30:43). Divine idea manifested through him and culminated in outstanding success.

    Friend, the grace for divine ideas is available, if you are born again. You get born again as you confess your sins and accept Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. If you are set for it, please say this prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour.
