Housewife accuses hubby of battering, seeks divorce

President of the Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan High Chief Ademola Odunade, yesterday dissolved an 18- year-old marriage between Rukayat and Wahab Kobiowu for battering and lack of care.

Odunade held that it was better for Rukayat to be alive without a husband than to be dead.

He, however, warned Wahab to keep away from any form of violence against Rukayat because he would henceforth be charged for assault.

“The custody of the three children produced by the union is granted to Rukayat for proper care.

“Wahab shall pay a monthly feeding allowance of N10, 000 for the upkeep of the children in addition to being responsible for their education and other welfare,” he said.

Narrating her ordeal, Rukayat told the court that Wahab, her husband, might soon kill her, if the court did not intervene in his ceaseless battery and starvation.

She said: “My lord, little did I know that I was asking for poverty, anguish, sadness and beating when I agreed to be Wahab’s wife 18 years ago. I have not known any form of happiness ever since then, but I thought that things would change for the better and so I decided to endure; now, I have realised that if I don’t cry out, Wahab may kill me.

“Aside from starving the family, Wahab has no regard for any of my relatives; worst still, he is a womaniser and has no respect for his matrimonial home.

“Recently, after I have left Wahab, he came to attack me in my rented apartment and descended heavily on me; it took the intervention of some kind hearted people to rescue me from him.

“Separation is the only thing that can solve this problem, please, save my life.”

However, Wahab, who could not deny any of the allegations brought against him, urged the court to help save his marriage from collapse.

Wahab, a commercial driver, confessed that all the allegations made by his wife were true.

“My lord, I cannot go and appeal to my in-laws because they all live in Benin Republic,” Wahab said.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Rukayat and Wahab reside at Oremeji area of Ibadan.

  • Confession of A Frustrated Lagos Based Housewife – “I Did This Since He Could Not Sexually Satisfy Me”

Confession of A Frustrated Lagos Based Housewife – “I Did This Since He Could Not Sexually Satisfy Me”

My name is Chioma, a Lagos housewife who has been through a lot. I have been married for 7 years and nursing a pain which has made my marriage turned sour.

I and my husband had it going good but it was worse after we welcomed our first child.

Dave, as he was called by me, lost his job then and would not want me to work. He always says his obligation is to meet the needs of his family. I was a full-time housewife and gave our only child all the attention and affection needed.

The quest for a job took its toll on my husband; he will set out early in the morning but to return late at night. We weren’t rich but we were living on the saved funds after the loss of his job. This had a negative effect because we ate deep into it.

A year gone by with no job yet, Dave began his sojourn into a business of his. The funds left was utilized, he gave all to make it work.

Dave was determined and enthusiastic about the business but the home-front suffered for it. Gradually, he wasn’t that concerned about me but his new found love “his business”. He had little or no time for our baby too.

Our sex life was almost heading for the rocks and I was not pleased when he is done with his action on the bed. His performance was below par; he hardly do it up to 3 minutes. Something he has been doing for up to 25 minutes non-stop before.

He always cited excuses for his below par performance, from tiredness, stress and lots more. I wept bitterly because I had been sex starved. Dave, whenever he sets for the race couldn’t but spill even before three minutes – no woman will smile for this type of action. So we had a talk about this and he tried several means but all to no avail…no solution at sight.

Months rolled by, with years counting…his condition was still worrisome because it keeps getting worst – this time around not even up to 2 minutes. I had no choice but to accept my fate.

However, Dave was making headway in his business and I wasn’t a priority to him anymore. Staring at my photo album, I was with smiles but deep within was tormented.

In my quest for a solution to Dave’s predicament, I had to visit a childhood friend known as Ireti at her home. I could confide in her, she did got married few years before ours. She and her husband were having lunch when I arrived. After the meal, we had a ladies talk in which I shared the issue being faced in my home.

She revealed a secret to me which left me speechless. I appreciated her kind gesture and quickly rushed home.  Read Testimonials From Other Men

Days later, on an evening I decided to share the secret with Dave with detailed explanation. He held me close and was full of joy. He applied the secret that evening. The same night, we made love and his performance did improve because I enjoyed it… https://goo.gl/vqigdR

Wow!!! On the fourth day of utilizing the secret, we had several sex routines – 3 rounds to be specific and I was okay with that. Come and see smile all over my face after we are done. That is how a woman should feel after every action with her man.

I was short of words, feels like he had a magic touch because his performance was commendable. With different sex styles utilized, he was the grand commander and was in control. • Prophet impregnates housewife

    Prophet impregnates housewife

There was a mild drama yesterday at a Customary Court sitting in Mapo area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, after a Shepherd in charge of a Celestial Church’s parish accompanied his mistress, Omolara Ojeyemi to the court to witness the dissolution of her marriage to her legal husband.

The priest, Prophet David Adebayo, amid tears, told the court that he was responsible for the pregnancy his mistress was carrying. He, however, pleaded for forgiveness for impregnating Omolara , who is married to one Abiodun Ojeyemi.

Confessing, Adebayo who resides in the Alakuko area of Alagbado, Lagos State, said that Omolara had been his mistress for the past 12 years, despite living with her husband in Ibadan with her husband in the last seven years.

He said: “My Lord, anytime Omolara left her husband in Ibadan, she used to come to meet me in Lagos where we usually have fun. Sometimes, she comes after her closing hours in her office and returned to Ibadan the following morning.

“Omolara only told me that she and her husband were no more in good terms even though she already had two children for him. I swear to the holy bible, I didn’t intend to destroy her relationship with her husband, she is just my girlfriend.

“The pregnancy she is carrying belongs to me. I was the one who deflowered her during my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) days. I followed her into the court to ensure that her union with Abiodun is dissolved today not that I am daring the court’s power.”

Adebayo however, apologized to the court for causing so many disharmonies to Abiodun, Omolara’s husband and for having unlawful sexual intercourse with a housewife.

The president of the court, High Chief Ademola Odunade subsequently dissolved the seven year-old marriage between Omolara and her husband (Abiodun), but ruled that Abiodun should take custody of the two children their seven- year-old marriage had produced.

In his remarks before the ruling, Odunade lamented that the society was fast undergoing an unprecedented decay in morality especially how adultery was ruining marriages. He described as unprecedented how a concubine could be so bold to accompany his mistress to a law court despite knowing that the act is an illegality.

“It is so tragic that a man can deliberately impregnate a housewife with children. It has never happened in the history of this court that a concubine will accompany his mistress to the court with the intention of daring us, saying nothing will happen.

“In the interest of peaceful living, the union between Omolara and Abiodun has ceased to be henceforth. Abiodun shall take custody of the two children produced by the union.’’

Narrating ordeal to the court, Abiodun, said his wife (Omolara), was an unrepentant fornicator despite his genuine love for her.

“My Lord, ever since I got married to Omolara seven years ago, little did I know that she had been occupied with all sorts of escapades in the name of going to church vigil. What I know is that she usually told me she was going for church vigil and I never had any reason to suspect her because I trusted her.

“However, since June this year, Omolara started starving me of sex. Before I eventually knew the truth, Omolara had told me that her concubine was her uncle and I was relating with him well as an in-law.

“One day, I got home and discovered that she had packed all the property away including mine. In fact, I have never failed to perform my responsibility as a husband to her and as a father to our children.

“It will be wrong for Omolara to hide under any stupid disguise to be neck deep in adultery. Omolara’s concubine is a priest at a Celestial Church, Emmanuel Parish, Elewiodo-Ojo, Ibadan,” Abiodun said.

Testifying in the matter, Omolara’s father confessed that Abiodun was a complete gentle son in-law whom he liked so much. He confirmed that he usually render Abiodun and Omolara monetary assistance anytime they were in need.

“I know that Abiodun has a great future ahead of him and I used to tell Omolara, my daughter to keep calm. If there was any problem, Abiodun never hesitated to inform me.”

“I never gave any wife to that naughty concubine and I know that he only wants to cause disaster to the happy relationship between my daughter and Abiodun,” Omolara’s father said.

Omolara’s mother also added that her daughter had been expelled from the church after she got pregnant for her concubine.

Others who testified corroborated Omolara father’s testimony. They all confirmed that Omolara was deeply into extra-marital affairs even with some other men.

Abiodun’s younger brother told the court that he had at various times caught her in different hotels with different men on adulterous mission. He however, said that he refused to tell his brother in order not to be seen as a trying to break their marriage.

Omolara, who was the plaintiff in the case, however told the court she was no longer interested in continuing with the marriage. She said Abiodun had threatened to attack her with scissors.

She also claimed that her husband, Abiodun, was responsible for her pregnancy because she took in shortly before she moved out from her matrimonial home.

“My Lord, I can no more endure hunger and lack of care in Abiodun’s home. My parents have been responsible for our daily needs including feeding, clothing and our children’s education.

“Worst still, Abiodun used to unleash mayhem on me. My Lord, enough is enough, please, separate us,” Omolara stated.
