RHOL: You’re nothing but a shameless bully, Faith Morey blasts Iyabo Ojo

Real Housewives of Lagos star, Faith Morey has blasted actress and co-star Iyabo Ojo for her demeaning and reckless personality while also trying to gaslight her flaws.

Iyabo Ojo responded to the widespread criticism of her feud with Faith Morey on season 2 of The Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOL).

The movie star acknowledged that many people draw parallels between reality shows and real-life situations while citing MohBad as an example.

The mother of two defended her actions, explaining that reality shows are often edited to convey a certain narrative and that not everyone can or should be portrayed as a victim, supporter or peacemaker.

However, Faith Morey disagreed with Iyabo’s claims and claimed that Iyabo never apologised to her.

She explained that RHOL is not a scripted show and the producers have no guidelines on how the housewives should behave.

Faith said Iyabo could not pretend to be someone she was not for five months and he could not act for that long.

The reality star urged Iyabo to take responsibility for her actions, pointing out that she hated her from the first day she met her.

“Own your crude, crass behavior with your chests!! You never liked me from the very first day you met me and you never stopped showing me that.

“I never did anything to you and you never for once apologized for anything or saw how badly you treated me! You never gave me a chance! You wanted to be close to anyone who disliked me because you are nothing but a shameless bully!

Actress Iyabo Ojo has dropped her two cents on backlashes and criticisms she is getting over her disputes with co-stars on Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOL) Season 2, especially Faith Morey.

The mother of two noted how many were comparing a reality show to real-life situations using MohBad as an example.

Assuring them that she wouldn’t give up on MohBad’s case, she shed light on her dramatic personality on the reality show.

Iyabo clarified that in her real life, her life can’t be edited, but on a show, it can be especially to suit a certain narrative.

She noted how everyone can’t play the victim, enabler, or peacemaker, as the show will be boring hence her dramatic side, which she signed up for.

“The Real Housewives of Lagos season 2…
I can see some viewers taking it so personally, well done. That’s what we signed up for but be calming down.
    .
“Facts!!! in my real life, cameras won’t follow me around….. meaning my real life can’t be edited. If I want to call friends, hang out, celebrate an achievement, travel out, or plan a staycation, it will be with my close friends, family, and loved ones.
With that being said, the show is indeed not scripted, but we’re given guidelines that are being situated and edited to suit a narrative that will help engage and entertain our dear viewers and fans
    .
“We can’t all play the victim, enabler, or peacemaker, the show will be boring now. This season 2, I’m a Vawulance child, I signed up to be the villain on the show, so I know it will come with a lot of dragging like I better pass my neighbor. Una go drag taya ooo, bcos na episode 4 of season 2 una still dey, am I the villain in all the remaining episodes? that I can’t reveal, you have to watch the show to find out.

Even that same day, once the cameras went off, I apologized, even at the beach house, I apologized again to her ……
See all these things I am saying now, I shouldn’t be saying it until after the show bcos it will water down the show ooooo.

“Now!!! the only reason am shalaying is because I can see some olodos who have decided to compare a show, 7 ladies were contacted and paid to come together to form a friendship, show lifestyle, show family, give small gbasgbos to entertain and engage you all…to a real-life situation of a young artist (Mohbad) who died and I’m seeking justice for…

Do not blame celebrities who choose to remain silent – Iyabo Ojo

Actress Iyabo Ojo has lamented what she described as the ridiculous deadline given her by the Lagos Government to pay N18m in three months for tax default.

According to the mother of two, she believes she is being witch hunted after fighting against her senior colleague in Nollywood for sexually assaulting a young girl and also supporting the Labor party in the recently concluded elections.

Iyabo Ojo claimed she already paid her tax debts for 2014-2019 but they still insist she must pay for the defaulted debt of 2020-2022 before the end of November or risk going to court.

She has made efforts to get them to reduce it or give her a payment plan she can work with, even going as far as writing an apology letter but nothing has changed for her.

She further stated that fans should not blame celebrities who do not speak up as doing so comes with a lot of negative consequences.

JusticeforMohad: Iyabo Ojo tasks police as two-week investigation deadline expires

Actress Iyabo Ojo has expressed her disappointment with the authorities for not releasing the autopsy results within the stipulated two-week timeframe set by the commissioner of police.

Alongside the Justice for MohBad group, led by Iyabo Ojo, demonstrators gathered at the House of Assembly on September 20, seeking justice for the late singer.

Their efforts also included a meeting with Lagos state commissioner of police, Idowu Owohunwa, who implicated Naira Marley and Sam Larry in MohBad’s death and hinted at video evidence.

In an excerpt shared by Ojo on October 4, the police asked for 14 days to complete a thorough investigation and provide the autopsy results.

The CP said: “With this approach, we can be sure that we will reach a conclusive end. It can’t be an open-ended thing. And I was confident of the progress we could make between the next two weeks. That was why I said the interim report should be ready before two weeks and I still stand by that.

“So in two weeks, I should be able to gather all of us and say, ‘This is where we are. This is the progress we’ve made.”

At that point, Ojo retorted: “So we’re coming back here in two weeks? We are coming back here in two weeks” to which her team chorused, ‘Yes.’

“By then the autopsy would have been done. Maybe the results would have been out. And maybe they would have arrested or declared wanted or even extradited some people.”

Then the police boss stated, “Sure, you’ll be welcomed.”

With the two-week investigation window expiring, the mother of two on behalf of ‘Nigerians’ has demanded an update from the police regarding their inquiry into Mohbad’s controversial passing.

She reiterated the need for justice not just for the deceased singer and the embattled DJ Splash but also for the generality of the Nigerian children.

She captioned the clip: “Good morning sir, today is exactly 2 weeks. You asked us to give you, you said in your own words that you will get back to us in 2 weeks’ time to update us on the ongoing investigation of Mohbad’s case (Imole) …….. Iyabo Ojo slams Nigerians pressuring Mohbad’s widow for DNA test

Actress, Iyabo Ojo, has rebuked individuals pestering Omowunmi, the widow of late singer, Ilerioluwa Promise Aloba, aka Mohbad, to get her son tested for DNA to establish his paternity.

As fans and lovers of Mohbad persist in their demand for justice from the authorities over the singer’s ‘suspicious’ death, several postulations and narratives about DNA have continued to pop up online.

Recently, the call for a DNA test on Mohbad’s son emerged and has kept rocking the internet.

On Monday, September 25, a clip of Larry Omodia, the CEO of African Television, surfaced online, urging Mohbad’s wife to conduct a DNA test on her son to confirm his paternity.

He pledged to provide an amount of N10 million to support Mohbad’s widow for an ‘all-expense paid’ DNA test if she agreed.

Omodia believed Omowunmi’s consent to have a paternity test performed on her son would end all weighty accusations made against her and, most importantly, vindicate her name.

However, Iyabo Ojo has disapproved of the continuous demand for a DNA test on the son of the sorrowing singer’s wife.

“If Mohbad’s parents want a DNA test, they can request it. You and I don’t have the right to tell them to do a DNA test.

“Mohbad never told anyone that his son wasn’t his son. But if the officers investigating his death feel there is a need to conduct a DNA test, they will. We need to be very sensitive, please. Why are you guys bullying the poor lady? Leave her alone.”
