Army searches Kanu’s home for arms

Prince Emmanuel Kanu, the younger brother of the Leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra ( IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has alleged that soldiers have again invaded their Afaraukwu Umuahia family home and carted away some household items.

Prince Kanu said that the invasion by the soldiers took place on Sunday afternoon.

He accused the invaders of looting the palace and making away with such items as television, generating sets, clothes among others belongings of the family.

Kanu called on the international community to prevail on the Nigerian Army to stop raiding their home, and to produce his bother whose whereabouts according to him has remained unknown  since after the September 14 military invasion of the compound.

But when contacted the Desk Officer of Operation Python Dance in charge of Abia State said no household items were removed from Kanu’s home.

According to him, the operation was based on the intelligence that arms were hidden in the compound.

He said “the things  removed may be technical items”, adding that “somebody was arrested with weapon in the compound”.

The Army Officer who preferred to be simply identified as Desk Officer for the operation also said it was a joint operation with the police, and directed further enquiries  to the police.

Efforts to get the reaction of the police however was not successful  as the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Mr. Geoffrey Ogbonna did not pick the calls to his cell phone.

He also did not respond to a text message sent to his phone as at the time of filing this report.

The Commissioner of Police Mr. Anthony Ogbizi did also not pick his calls even though it rang out twice.

  • Kinsman seeks Kanu’s repatriation from UK to face trial

Kinsman seeks Kanu’s repatriation from UK to face trial

For fear that Nnamdi Kanu’s sureties may be held responsible should he fail to return for his trial, a Federal High Court in Abuja has been asked to compel the Nigerian government to have him brought back to the country.

The request is contained in a suit filed on October 5 by an indigene of Abia State, Ugochukwu Kenneth, through his lawyers,Obor John and Tersagh Unande.

Named as de‎fendants in the suit marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/930/17 are the British High Commission, the Comptroller-General of Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) and the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF).

Kanu and some other member of his group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are being tried before Justice Binta Nyako (also of the Federal High Court, Abuja) on treason related offences.

The court, however granted only Kanu bail on health ground on April 25 this year. In meeting the bail conditions, three individuals, including Senator Eyinanaya Abaribe and two others stood surety for him to guarantee that he would attend court until the trial is concluded.

But, in a suit filed in his name on September 26 this year, before the Federal High Court, Abuja, marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/908/2017, his lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor accused the Nigerian Army of abducting Kanu..

Ejiofor stated among others, that Kanu has not been seen since some soldiers allegedly invaded his house on September 14, during which shots were fired and people dead and some wounded.

Kanu lawyer’s claim about his whereabouts was however, countered in a recently by former Governor of Abia State, Orji Kalu, who in an interview, said Kanu had escaped to the United Kingdom.

The plaintiff in the fresh suit, Uguchukwu Kenneth agrees with the ex-Governor on Kanu’s whereabouts and requested that the NIS be compelled to repatriate him to enable him face his trial, expected to resume on October 17.

Kanneth stated, in a supporting affidavit, that “Senator Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe, representing the good people of Abia South Senatorial District of Abia State; Tochukwu Uchendu and Jewish Chief High Priest Immanuel –El Shalom Oka-Ben Madu perfected the bail bond which facilitated the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“Upon the perfection of the bail and consequent released of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from prison custody, Mazi Kanu has, to the best of my knowledge, breached all the bail conditions to wit; granting press interviews while on bail, participating in any rally, or being found in a crowd of more than ten persons in the course of the bail.

“And to make matters worse, Mazi Kanu has finally travelled to the United Kingdom in an attempt to escape trial and the arm of the law..

  • Kalu under fire over Kanu’s whereabouts

Kalu under fire over Kanu’s whereabouts

Former Abia State Governor Orji Uzor Kalu was under attack yesterday for his revelation of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu’s whereabouts.

Kanu has not been seen or heard from since last month’s  fracas between his supporters and troops near his Afaraukwu home in Umuahia, the Abia State capital. His lawyers have urged the High Court in Abuja to compel the military to produce him, “having taken him away when they invaded his house”. But the military has since denied taking Kanu away.

The ex-governor, in an interview published yesterday by a national daily, said Kanu had bolted away to London.

Kalu said: “Kanu was not taken away by the military. Kanu went to Malaysia from where he travelled to the United Kingdom. Nnamdi Kanu is in London right now as we speak. He was not arrested by anybody. He left the country on his own.”

The ex-governor said one of Kanu’s relations told him the whereabouts of the separatist leader whose counsel Ifeanyi Ejiofor wondered how Kalu could be authoritative about his client’s whereabouts when he did not claim to be present on “the day soldiers invaded Kanu’s abode”.

The lawyer, who referred to the processes he filed in relation to a suit, seeking to compel Chief of Army Staff Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai to produce his client in court, said he stood by the claim in the suit that the army should account for Kanu’s whereabouts.

Ejiofor and others in the suit claimed that Kanu, who was in his house during the September 14 attack on his premises by some soldiers, “has not been heard from or seen after this bloody attack in his home by the agents of the respondent (COAS) since the 14th day of September 2017”.

In a statement sent through an electronic mail yesterday, Ejiofor said: “ Kalu saw Kanu’s travails as an opportunity for relevance.

“What do you expect from a man who is enjoying a temporary freedom? Struggling to get his head out of grievous corruption charge hanging on his neck?

“He is seeking for possible relevance where none exists, opportunity to divert attention.  May be he has forgotten he is no longer the governor of Abia State.

“I advise the discerning mind to kindly disregard his tantrums as that coming from a drowning man.

“The military should produce my client wherever they kept him. The matter is now in court, let’s meet in court.

“Orji Uzo Kalu can as well apply to be joined as a party in the suit. Let his position be on oath.”

The banned separatist group, in a statement by its spokesman Emma Powerful, said: “IPOB through her lawyers will compel Orji Uzor Kalu to appear in court alongside (Gen. Tukur) Buratai on the October 17, 2017 to tell the world, under oath, what he claims to know about the whereabouts of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“His laughable assertion that the IPOB leader is in London is a confirmation that all along he has been working in tandem with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, Willie Obiano, Rochas Okprocha and others to slaughter as many IPOB family members as possible in order to please the core North.

”Our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu before his abduction by the Nigerian Army has brought an end to the era of cash-and-carry politics of subservience to Hausa/Fulani to the detriment of Biafra.

”We have formally instructed our attorneys to add the name of Orji Uzor Kalu as one of those who might help in locating our leader. He should be prepared to present his evidence in a court of law and be cross examined under oath. The surviving members of Kanu family have all denied ever talking to Orji Uzor Kalu about the whereabouts of our leader.”

  • Group threatens to occupy U.K embassy if Kanu is not extradited

The Advocate of Social Justice for All has threatened to occupy the embassy of United Kingdom if the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu is not extradited to Nigeria.

The group in a statement by its Executive Director, Asongo Venatius , said it was disappointed to learn that the Kanu is hiding in the United Kingdom after illegally travelling through Cameroon and Malaysia.

According to Venatius, this implies that the UK is harbouring a fugitive from Justice and this is irrespective of him holding dual nationalism – Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

“The proper thing is for the UK to have allowed Kanu answer the treason charges against him in Nigeria before making any intervention.

“We find it supremely irresponsible for the UK High Commission in Nigeria to have issued its statement seeking clarification on Nnamdi Kanu when it knows it was in cahoots with the terrorist leader.

“The irresponsible behaviour became diabolic when the UK issued him an emergency travel document in collaboration with crisis merchants. This is the worst form of double standard ever.

“We are at a loss to understand what the UK Mission in Nigeria or even the home country stands to gain by mischievously sinking so low to aid a terrorist and facilitate his sneaking out of the country.

“This is a disgrace to the government and people of the United Kingdom, it is a blot that can only be erased by the government of the UK flushing out Kanu and all other bad elements that are trying to sabotage Nigeria.
If the UK truly believes in freedom, it must extradite Kanu, who is facing charges in a Nigerian court, so that those who stood surety to perfect his bail conditions do not end up in jail if he fails to show up for his trial.

“Even where the UK has decided to spurn the ties that existed between it and Nigeria, we advise it to revisit the ill advised choice of backing a terrorist against the Nigerian state.

“As the UK should have learnt from initially supporting ISIS terrorists, the attacks by these sick minds would eventually take place on its soil.

“The Advocates of Social Justice for All [ASJA] therefore demands that the UK High Commission in Nigeria immediately extradite Nnamdi Kanu to stand trial for his crime before his October 17, 2017 court appearance.

“Failure to do this will see ASJA leading Nigerians to occupy the UK High Commission’s premises in a manner it has never experienced before in any other part of the world,” the statement said.

MASSOB: Kanu remains ‘Biafra hero’ dead or alive

The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB) said yesterday the missing leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, is a true hero of Biafra, even dead or alive.

MASSOB described Kanu as a determined man who was destined for the actualisation of Biafra.

In a statement posted by its leader, Uchenna Madu, MASSOBB said: “Kanu does not pose any danger to Nigeria’s existence; the problem that poses a dangerous extinction to Nigeria’s existence is Hausa/Fulani domination of Nigeria over the general interest of other ethnic nationalities.”

MASSOB said Kanu had proven to be a loved figure for championing the self-determination struggle for the actualisation and restoration of Biafra.

Kanu has not escaped, military should produce him, says lawyer

Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, lawyer to the leader of the pro-Biafra group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has faulted the claim by former Abia State Governor, Orji Kalu that his client has escaped.

Ejiofor, who was reacting to a media report credited to the ex-Governor, wondered how Kalu could be authoritative about his client’s whereabouts when he did not claim to be present the day soldiers invaded Kanu’s abode.

The lawyer, who referred to the processes he filed in relation to a recent suit, seeking to compel the Chief of Army Staff to produce his client in court, said he stood by the claim in the suit that the Nigerian Army should account for Kanu’s whereabouts.

Ejiofor and others had, in the suit marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/908/2017, claimed that Kanu, who was in his house during the September 14, 2017 attacked on his premises by some soldiers, “has not been heard from or seen after this bloody attack in his home by the agents of the respondent (COAS) since the 14th day of September 2017.”

In a statement sent through an electronic means on Sunday, Ejiofor used unfriendly words on the ex-Governor and challenged him to apply to be part of the suit if indeed; he has a position contrary to that of the plaintiff in the suit.

Ejiofor said: “Orji uzo Kalu is a drowning man, looking for where to perch. He has since outlived his usefulness in Igbo land.

“What do you expect from a man who is enjoying a temporary freedom? Struggling to get his head out of grievous corruption charge hanging on his neck.

“It’s not unlikely that he may spend the rest of his life in prison, sooner than expected.

“He saw Nnamdi Kanu’s travail as opportunity to seek relevance from the prosecuting authority.

At some time, he attempted deceiving the state into believing that he has the magic wand  to Nnamdi Kanu’s peaceful agitation.

“Now, he has turned into government /military spokesperson. Please ask that confuse man, if he was in the company of the rampaging soldiers at the time of their murderous invasion of my client’s home?

He is seeking for possible relevance where none exist, opportunity to divert attention.  May be he has forgotten he is no longer the Governor of Abia State.

“I advise the discerning mind to kindly disregard his tantrums as that coming from a drowning man.

“The military should produce my client wherever they kept him. The matter is now in court,  let’s meet in court.

“Orji Uzo Kalu, can as well apply to be joined as a party in the suit. Let his position be on oath.”

  • ‘Kanu accepted dropping absolute Biafra demand before army struck’

‘Kanu accepted dropping absolute Biafra demand before army struck’

It has been revealed that the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, was almost shifting ground from absolute Biafra demand to restructuring before the army struck.

The revelation was made yesterday by the deputy secretary, Igbo Leaders of Thought, Evang. Elliot Uko, who was present at the meeting between Nnamdi Kanu and South East governors.

According to Uko in a statement issued in Enugu, leader of the Igbo Leaders of Thought, Prof. Ben Nwabueze, had convinced Kanu to drop his absolute demand for the Sovereign State of Biafra and accept restructuring.

Kanu accepted but on the condition that he had to consult with other members of the group who might not be comfortable with unilateral decision by him.

Uko’s statement reads: “The 30th of August, 2017 meeting between Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and South East governors was historic in the sense that Prof. Ben Nwabueze made Kanu to adjust his position in a landmark development.

“Because of Kanu’s deep respect for Prof. Ben Nwabueze, whom he trusts absolutely, Kanu accepted in principle Prof. Nwabueze’s proposal that IPOB accepts the restructuring of Nigeria and step down the agitation for secession. But the restructuring should be a return to the 1963 Constitution format.

“Kanu, in reverence to Prof. Nwabueze, agreed in principle to the Nwabueze proposal, but insisted on discussing with and carrying along the entire leadership of the IPOB, both at home and in the Diaspora.

“The meeting also agreed to meet again within days in order to fine tune and conclude the agreements. It was also agreed that IPOB will not disrupt any elections.

“But most importantly, Kanu accepted Prof. Nwabueze’s suggestions that IPOB demands are not absolute. Meaning that the group will have to shift ground in subsequent meetings.

“Kanu was cautious not to take solo decisions without carrying his group along, and therefore promised to bring the group’s leaders to the next meeting.

It is therefore my considered opinion that those behind the military invasion and attacks are averse to peaceful resolution of the loss of confidence in Nigeria by millions of eastern youths and have chosen to sustain the status quo through force of arms.”

  • Egwu Eke: Between Kanu and Jollof Rice

Genuine freedom fighters anywhere in the world are known for a definite character. They fight and remain in personified expressions in words and actions. They do not run away; they do not go into hiding and dump adherents to languish in sorrow alone.

Social activists have their fate sealed by the beliefs and convictions in the cause for public good. It makes them impenetrable to bullets and guns. It melts the fire force of all armoury. They dare authorities in the face, without shrinking to defend their cause even at the risk of their lives.

This is the portrait you see in all social crusaders around the world. They come from different backgrounds or orientations and perhaps, may even vary in perceptions, but the system of the pursuit of social justice has uniformity. This is what you encounter in forces like the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr, the Afro-American civil rights crusader and his likes everywhere.

When he delivered the historic speech, which ironically turned out to be his last public address, at the Mason Temple, a Pentecostal church in Memphis, Tenn, April 3, 1968, decrying the injustice done to the protesting city sanitation workers in Memphis, King Jr knew he dared the authorities. But he was bold and eloquent, irresistibly beholding, as he harped for a change of the low pay and poor working conditions of the workers.

Less than 24 hours later, Martin Luther King Jr was assassinated. But he told the people to live and fight for their humanity in these words, “We aren’t engaged in any negative protest and in any negative arguments with anybody. We are saying that we are determined to be men. We are determined to be people. We are saying that we are God’s children. And that we don’t have to live like we are forced to live”.

Even in death, Martin Luther King Jr is worshipped by all mankind. He dared the forces against humanity, but did not take to his heels. But in Nigeria, the people are compelled to see a strange and very deceptive version of a freedom fighter, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). In the last two years, he has heightened tension in Nigeria, particularly in the Southeast region under the fake claims of fighting for the realization of a “Biafran republic.”

He gambled with reason and sacrificed wisdom on the altar of greed. He lured most of his people into avoidable mess. He enjoyed the drama because it raised a platform for him to freely swindle his people. He barked violence at every point and swore that the “republic of Biafra” will be actualized through brute force. He established private security organizations – the Biafra Secret Service (BSS) and the Biafra National Guard (BNG) to militantly cage everybody.

Kanu massively recruited criminals into these organizations. He thereafter unleashed them on a hapless Igbo nation, as kidnappers/abductors, cultists, murderers, extortionists and armed robbers. These miscreants could do nearly everything criminal, laced in violence, including attacking worship places to either kill or rape female worshippers. IPOB security identified and murdered individuals opposed to the cause and style of self-determination as enunciated by Kanu and buried them in secret shallow graves.

BSS and BNG were all powerful and even dared physical confrontations with soldiers. Police officers were their favorite barbecue. They effortlessly murdered police officers in the line of duty, who attempted to enforce public law and order. Kanu dared soldiers or any security agent to attempt his arrest anywhere in Biafran land” and be roasted to death. He directed BSS and BNG members to raze Nigeria to ashes if his bail is revoked and he is re-arrested.

Listening to Kanu, you were prone to mistake him for a man with guts and someone committed to the cause he had hoodwinked all leaders in the Southeast to buy the meal ticket. He flamed with fake courage.

But how did Nnmadi Kanu funded the BSS and BNG or his operations generally? Kanu had exceptional skills in swindling his people. Some reports indicated that Kanu armed with the secession agenda allegedly approached the Igbo congress in the US to request money to buy guns and ammunitions to fight the Nigerian state. How much he got from the gamble is not clear. But there were overwhelming doubting voices. And he never learned from it.

But the criminal instincts in Kanu could have earned him a deal, as he first of all disparaged the Igbos in Europe as broke. He praised the Igbos in America, as more sensible. But certainly, they were not foolish enough to donate their hard-earned money into the sort of project launched by Kanu. They preferred devoting the monies to improving the living conditions of their impoverished people back home.

But Kanu argued that the problem of Igbo nation was all about identity, through separatism. He was not comfortable with their NO answer and could have probably pushed the funding at individual levels. But it is plausible the argument that Kanu eventually sourced for funding and that’s why he formed the BSS and the BNG, which he armed with weapons. So, he came back to Nigeria and became the untouchable, always spitting fire.

It was easy to say, Nnamdi Kanu was absorbed in his convictions. But it was far from it. When the Presidency ordered a military operation to cleanse the Southeast of these criminal elements who had infiltrated every nook and cranny of the region, Kanu’s emptiness and hidden agenda was exposed. At first, Kanu’s “troops” displayed some bravado by engaging the military in unprovoked attacks. Soldiers observed restraint, as “Operation Python Dance II” launched by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Tukur Yusufu Buratai had not officially commenced operations. Mere military patrols infuriated IPOB members who came out ferociously against soldiers.

However, Kanu’s underbelly was exposed when the Nigerian Defence Headquarters (DHQs) officially declared IPOB a militant terrorist’s organization, after a professional investigation of its activities. It listed several reasons including the raising of a private army by Kanu. The Southeast Governors Forum (SGF) also reviewed the operations of IPOB and discovered its multiple aberrations and slammed a proscription on it.

It was expected that Nnamdi Kanu would be courageous enough to stay and defend IPOB and the cause he murdered sleep for millions of people. But he rather exhibited the unexpected. He shamefully fled into hiding. That is not the mark of a genuine freedom fighter. It was paradoxical that Kanu dreaded death, but pushed armed Southeast youths to kiss their early graves. Since then, Kanu has not been forthcoming.

Kanu, the self-appointed cleric of the Biafran gospel, the one-time dreaded alfa and omega, the numero uno of the Biafran struggle, who rejected all entreaties to a civilized and decent manner of prosecuting his separatism agenda suddenly became effeminate. He forgot his avowals to have “Biafra” now or never. He was tamed so easily and that is how any agenda hatched on dubiousness perishes and fizzles out.

What is left of Kanu and IPOB is a cocktail of disclaimers of him and his organization from leaders, groups and institutions in the Southeast. The dirge was personally announced by “IPOB Media Strategist, Tim Elombah himself, who posted on Facebook thus; “Breaking! SE Govs, Senators, Ohaneze, Disown Kanu, Proscribe IPOB”. It was unbelievable, but true. Now, Kanu who plotted to invade Abuja to demand for President Mohammedu Buhari’s head to deliver at Umuahia is proscribed. Kanu’s guts have melted, with his vanishing shadows.

But operation “Egwu Eke II” (Operation Python Dance II) is ready for a dance with Kanu and IPOB. But it appears Kanu is not prepared for the dance. But viewing the video clips of Kanu and his brainwashed illiterates, who stoned an APC belonging to the military and attacked soldiers at a roadblock at Isialangwa, one thought they were ready to do the dance. It was possible to provoke the soldiers into vengeance, but there was no indication that anybody was murdered. One thought Kanu’s gods have consumed all the Nigerian troops like it happened in Nigeria at a time with Baba Alakyo in Nasarawa state.

But the comportment of soldiers was simply because the Army was under strict instructions of the Chief of Army Staff not to molest anyone, let alone kill anyone, no matter the depth of provocation. The cordiality of soldiers radiated the more when they arrested Kanu’s boys and offered them launch of jollof rice and fish, something Kanu had denied them throughout the struggle for a fake secession.

Let those who admire Kanu intimate him that true freedom fighters, do not runaway. Fleeing is an irrecoverable sign of defeat. Having done this, Kanu should perish the thought of his “Biafran” pursuit forever. He is free to scout for new strategies to swindle his people, but the tactics veiled as Biafran struggle has been demystified.

Okanga, a traditional warrior writes from Agila, Benue State.

  • Kanu and the tortoise

The adventures of Nnamdi Kanu and his Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) reminds the cultural-minded of the tortoise in the Yoruba folktale.

The tortoise woke up one day and declared himself travel-bound.  Asked when he would return, he snapped that would be when he was disgraced.

In Ola Rotimi’s play, Kurunmi, the tragic tale of the fall, during the Ijaye war with Ibadan, of the Aare Ona Kakanfo (war generalissimo) of the Oyo Empire, in Yoruba history, the late Prof. Rotimi, in explosive dramatics, linked Kurunmi’s hubris — and fall — to this tortoise’s wilful baiting of disgrace — for how can any sane being declare he won’t come home until he faced disgrace?

This was just a Yoruba tale.  But other civilizations too always warned of the dangers of hubris.

In Greek and Roman classical drama, the concept of the hubris, or the fatal flaw, was a constant staple.  As the Yoruba warned of false pride aka the tortoise, the Greeks and the Romans warned their mighty to be wary of hubris — else the gods were ever willing to cut cocky humans to size.  And o, the Igbo, Kanu’s people, also warned of the folly of jousting with your chi (personal god)!

IPOB’s Nnamdi Kanu might not have been well read.  His profile too might not have matched the status of the Greco-Roman greats, that qualified for the gods’ baleful and malevolent treatment, if the human stepped out of line.

Still in Willy Loman, the American Arthur Miller proved in his play, Death of a Salesman, which ran on a novel concept of little people’s tragedy (note the pun, “low man” and Loman), that hubris was no monopoly of the mighty.

So, it is with Kanu and his IPOB rabble.  They started their campaign of hate by threatening and insulting and abusing the non-Igbo.  Then, when the federal authorities reacted, they started threatening the fire and brimstone of instant secession.

When the so-called “northern youths” responded with an equally crazy quit-the-North-by-October 1-or-else order, and the Ohanaeze finally found its voice to stem the danger, the Ohanaeze became the new IPOB punching bag.  After that, it was Kanu’s ridicule of the South East governors for daring to caution moderation.

Kanu holed up in Southeast as Turkey disowns video

As troops and security agents continue the search for fleeing leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, there were indications last night that he was in the South-East.

Security agencies have been placed on the alert at the airports, seaports and borders to watch out for Kanu.

The Turkish Embassy in Nigeria clarified yesterday that it was not in support of secessionist activities in Nigeria

A top security sourcesaid: “Intelligence gathering has shown that Kanu is still holed up in the South-East. We will soon fish him out of wherever he is hiding.

“We are only trying to be constructive in our engagement to avoid huge cost. Security agencies  know what to do but they are just being careful.

“We have identified some of his sympathisers who could harbour him. At the appropriate time, we will brief Nigerians.

” We know he is planning to escape from the country but we won’t allow him. We are determined to arrest him.”

The Turkish Embassy in a statement said: “The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey wishes to inform the Nigerian public about the following:

“Abdulkadir Erkahrahman, a Turkish citizen, has been sharing videos for some time against the Nigerian Government and presents himself as a Turkish diplomat.

“Mr. Abdulkadir Erkahrahman is neither a diplomat nor a civil servant or an official representative of the Government of Turkey.

“The Government of Turkey is committed to the territorial integrity and political unity of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Furthermore, Turkey never supports secessionist activities against the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
