“After I knock Ortiz out or whatever I do to him, after that I will leave it up to my manager to try to get me a fight with Klitschko. I’m not scared to fight anybody.”

Kayode happy to debut in Israel

Olanrewaju Kayode has said he was delighted to be back playing again after he finally made his debut for Israeli club Maccabi Netanya.

The Nigeria U-20 striker was locked in a transfer logjam involving his former club Asec Mimosas, which needed the intervention of world football governing body FIFA before he could finally resume his career. Kayode was a second half substitute as Netanya won 1-0 at Jerusalem on Thursday.

“I give God all the glory that I’m back playing football again. It was also good that we won this game and now I can fully concentrate on my football again,” he told MTNFootball.com.

Former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) top shot Taiwo Ogunjobi was slammed a 10-year ban for his involvement with Kayode’s transfer logjam.

Ivorian club Asec claimed Kayode still has a contract with them, but FIFA ruled against such a claim and ordered the NFF to issue a provisional clearance to Heartland for the player.

Kayode is thus on a short-term loan from Heartland to Maccabi Netanya.
