    MFM Festac mega axis empowers pastors, ministers, workers

    The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, (MFM)  Festac Mega Axis has held the Rising Higher Conference with the theme ‘Occupy till I come’ to empower pastors, ministers and workers in a bid to unlock their true potentials 

    The gathering featured insightful teachings on how to prevent and handle fire out break , importance  of  faithfulness and communication in family/marriages,  physical and mental health wellness, biblical  stewardship as well as  uplifting worship sessions led by talented music ministers.

    The  conference which attracted speakers and 761 participants, was attended by all Overseers, Pastors, ninisters, departments and groups across the axis.

    The Mega Regional Overseer (MRO), MFM Festac Mega Axis, Pastor Irabor Enojiasun,  thanked the General Overseer of MFM Worldwide, Dr. Daniel Olukoya for his impactful leadership  and passion in ensuring that every one that passes through MFM is not only saved but also developed spiritually and physically through different seminars and trainigs to become agent of transformation.  

    He said the conference was  premised on reviving individuals, the Church and repositioning it for greater relevance. He said the conference  is for participants to have a transformative encounter with God.

    Speaking on the theme,  Enojiasun enjoyed participants to be faithful stewards protecting and defending the faith while also investing in the Kingdom to bring forth godly fruits.

    The Pastor stressed that all believers must be productive spiritually,  bearing godly  seeds  through godly character, living in peace with everyone and functioning as agents of transformation as well as winning  souls for Christ through biblical teachings and deliverance prayers. 

    Enojiasun reminded there will be accountability and a glorious day of judgement and reckoning when all individual actions,  activities  and investment on earth will be tabled before God.

    The MRO said the Church brought an officer from  the Federal Fire Service , SF Agbede Olatunde Olaleye who had practical teaching on the importance of fire safety,  awareness, prevention, response and fundamentals of fire safety, which includes prevention, detection and fire fighting, highlighting smoke clog handling during fire incident among others.

    The conference had teachings  on importance of faithfulness and communication in families and marriages  handled by Pastor (Mrs) C. Sanya . Sanya, who urged couples to make selfless commitment with a view to ensuring  their marriages work.

    She emphasized  the importance of fruitful , edifying, loving and friendly,  destiny enhanced communication in marriage which she describes as ‘blood and life’ of Godly  marriages.

    On her part, Dr.Funke Nwobu,  a medical practitioner took participants on basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) , which she stated was crucial for maintaining blood circulation and breathing in cardiac arrest situations.

    Nwobu said for mental wellness every individual should eschew anger, bitterness and lack of forgiveness.

    She called on participants to ensure they stay healthy  as well as help others to stay health by living together  as brothers and sisters irrespective of religious affiliations,  or ethnic biases. 

    The climax of the conference was the Impartation by the  Senior Regional Overseer/Mega Regional Overseer, MFM Asaba Mega Axis, Pastor Moses Odunsi. Odunsi, who  ministered on the topic ‘Higher Grace For Higher Level’.  deeper intimacy with God, greater faith and greater trust, Increase in faithfulness and effectiveness as well as determination for spiritual growth and transformation as ways to attract Grace For Higher Level. 

    Participants described the  conference as exceptionally  impactful  and will not only foster spiritual growth, empowerment, and renewed commitment to kingdom advancement but also make them agent of transformation in their families and societies at large.

    MFM Festac Mega Axis empowers community with food, business grants, scholarships

    It was a season of joy and celebration as the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Lagos Region 12, Festac Mega Axis Headquarters extended acts of love to Amuwo-Odofin community, including Muslim residents, through a major welfare initiative.

    As part of the programme, 326 beneficiaries, including non-members of the church, received 4 kilograms of rice each to help alleviate hunger and improve their overall well-being.

    In addition to the food distribution, the church also empowered 28 pastors’ wives, two widows, and two female ministers with a cash grant of N250,000 each, totaling N7 million. The support was aimed at helping recipients to either expand existing businesses or start new ventures, thereby fostering financial independence and stability.

    Mega Regional Overseer, Pastor Irabor Enojiasun alongside his wife Pastor (Mrs.) Modesola Enojiasun, Bro. Mark Tokula (Chairman, MRO Empowerment Committee), and Dr. (Mrs.) Funke Nwobu, an executive member of the committee, said the initiative was part of the church’s broader Explosive Evangelism Initiative (EEI) aimed at winning more souls for Christ through practical acts of kindness.

    They explained that the programme was designed to empower families, especially those led by women, and to ensure they could pursue personal and ministry-related projects without hindrance.

    In a similar move to support education, the church awarded N40,000 educational support grants each to 12 indigent students, enabling them to pursue their academic dreams without financial constraints.

    Presenting the various gifts, Pastor Temitope Akin Olawale, Director of Administration at MFM International Headquarters, reiterated that welfare and community development are central to the mission of MFM worldwide.

    According to him, the General Overseer of MFM, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, has mandated all branches globally to invest in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes alongside their spiritual activities.

    Adding his voice, Engr. (Dr.) Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh, Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area, lauded MFM Festac for its positive impacts on the local government, citing examples such as the repair of 7th Avenue Road in Festac, free medical outreaches, and free skills acquisition programs like the Free Bakery Initiative.

    MFM welfare ministry lifts thousands with tools, food, scholarship, others

    Welfare Ministry, the humanitarian arm of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM), has lifted scores of members across the country with  industrial sewing machines, grinding machines,  deep freezers, cash gifts as well as other items to boost their businesses. 

    It also distributed free food and clothings to members  at Easter .

    The ministry,  which recently concluded a free fish farming training for members, equipped  trainees with  starter packs to start their own businesses.  

    The arm constantly pays fees of brilliant  children of deceased pastors as well as distribute free school bags to students across the country. 

    Head, Welfare Ministry, Pastor Seyon Faton, said the gestures form the initiative of the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries worldwide,  Dr. Daniel Olukoya, who wants to see that apart from the spiritual needs, the physical needs of the members are taken care of.

    The spiritual needs, he continued, are met through  different  deliverance prayer  programmes and Biblical teachings and Seminars organised by the church. 

    Apart from the spiritual needs, Faton said the Church believes in making physical impact on well-being of members, taking them out of poverty and making them financially independent  through different free trainings  and economic empowerment. 

    Faton stressed that the welfare ministry is focused on attending to needs of members irrespective of their tribes, sex , or academic qualifications. 

    He explained that the humanitarian arm of the Church pays hospital bills, house rents and training of members in their preferred skills, after which they are empowered with starter packs.

    His words:” Our father in the Lord, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries worldwide, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya put the Welfare Ministry in place  to cater for the needs of our church members.  

    “He said he believes in making physical impact on lives apart from the spiritual impacts through several deliverance prayers and biblical teachings. Through this Welfare Ministry by God’s  Grace, we pay hospital bills of members, we pay  school fees of indigent students, we give full scholarship to students from Primary,  Secondary,  and Tertiary institutions. 

    “We’ve paid for training for members in Automobiles,  Fashion  designing,  Fish Farming,  baking and Pastries to mention a few. The goal of the Welfare Ministry is to ensure that our members are lifted out of poverty,  economically viable and financially independent. “

    On  Easter Sunday the Welfare Ministry gave out food items like rice, garri, spaghetti, Semolina, Indomie,  salt, Maggi, tin tomatoes, wears and domestic wares.

    In a bid  to break the gender barrier, showcase, as well as empower women in a field often perceived as male-dominated, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, (MFM) has organised  a concert series for female organists from various churches  across the country with the theme, ‘Ladies at the Organ.’

    The maiden concert series held at MFM International Headquarters, Onike-Iwaya,  was not only to break stereotypes but also to create opportunities for women to shine in the world of music.

    The  concert, which was  hosted by the wife of the General Overseer,  Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries,  Dr. (Mrs.) Folashade Elizabeth Olukoya, afforded female organists from different churches and cathedrals across the country under the auspices of the  Association of Nigerian Female Organists (ANFO), not only to gather and showcase their talents, but also break stereotypes, and inspire more women to take on the organ.

    Speaking at the event, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Worldwide, and Patron of ANFO,  Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, said he and his wife, Dr. Folashade, are both committed to the vision of encouraging more women to embrace the organ and develop their musical talents.

    He revealed that to further support the vision, he (Olukoya) and his wife have established an Organ School at Mountain Top University to provide a platform for students passionate about learning the organ to receive the best training and pursue excellence in their craft.

    Olukoya, himself an organist and multi-instrumentalist, said  MFM is championing the art of real organ music.

    He stressed that the importance of the organ cannot be diminished as the Queen of all instruments.

    He said the idea behind forming the  Association of Nigerian Female Organists (ANFO) is to motivate, encourage,  inspire, and provoke ladies to get into the organ room which is currently male-dominated.

    He stressed that the objectives of ANFO are to promote organ music development,  spur female organists, and increase their accessibility to organs to help them in their professional development and networking.

    Speaking of MFM’s unrelenting passion for good music,  Olukoya explained that his burning vision and that of his wife is to give youth quality music education and excellent skills in various musical instruments and idioms.

    He said the church is doing its best to encourage young ones in the church and the environment in the area of training and discipline.

    He maintained that investment in music education would help to redefine and refine music, as well as provide opportunities to boost the economy.

    MFM is putting several structures in place to enable young people to develop their musical talents and gifts as well as ensuring that ancient art of good music does not go into extinction.

    To ensure these, the church is offering scholarships to young ones, who desire to study music at higher levels even up to PhD at both local and foreign universities and schools of music.

    MFM sponsors youths to study music in places like Durham, America, South Africa, and France.

    Recently, four young musicians were sent to pursue baccalaureate and Master’s degrees in Music in Canada, England, and Massachusetts, United States.

    MFM has also made donations of musical instruments to various Nigerian universities such as the University of Lagos, Lagos State University, and others.

    He pointed out that the church holds MFM International Accapella and Choir Competitions worldwide, where young ones showcase their talents in Godly music through idioms of well-arranged classical, Negro spirituals, native airs, and contemporary items.

    On her part, the Chief host, Dr. (Mrs.) Folashade Elizabeth Olukoya added that the Female Organists’ Concert series  is to break barriers and empower the next generation of female organists.

    Mrs Olukoya said that as the wife of the General Overseer, she is using the position God has put her to impact positively on the masses,  especially championing the cause of women so that they can excel in their chosen careers, skills, business, and professional fields.

    She described women as instruments of excellence specially created and endowed by God.

    Members of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries(MFM) Onitsha Mega Regional axis have
    donated food items to vulnerable persons, widows and less privileged to ameliorate their suffering.

    The Church also fixed Isiokwe Bus stop Street Road junction pot holes as part of her Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) programmes

    According to the Mega Regional Overseer (MRO) MFM Onitsha Mega Regional axis, Pastor Christopher Kolawole, the church believes in God’s command to feed the poor, provide for the widows and take care of the less privileged.

    Kolawole stressed the kind gesture was also part of the Explosive Evangelism Initiative (EEI), adding the General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya had instructed that all MFM churches should touch lives positively, spiritually through different Evangelism programmes and Physically through different Corporate Social Responsibility programmes.

    The MRO explained that the church gave 500 bags of (10kg) rice and 100 cartons of Spaghetti to about 100 widows and 350 less privileged , each going home with minimum of 30kg Rice and Spaghetti .

    He added that earlier in the year 600bags of 10kg rice was equally shared to widows and less-privileged, while ten thousand naira each was given to fifty families to put food on their tables

    His words: ” This is an annual event/activities of the church to ameliorate economic situation.”

    Kolawole revealed that the existence of MFM in Onitsha and its environs has brought drastic change physically and spiritually through its deliverance prayers, biblical teachings, entrepreneurial seminars, skills acquisition and empowerment programs to mention a few.

    He added that the church has helped in bridging unemployment gap in the country by training several youths , young adults , men and women on small scale importation without stress at the comfort of their homes, how ro produce paint , soap and other skills which can make them financial independent, as well as employer of labour.

    Beneficiaries testified that the rice, spaghetti, yams and other food items would go along way for their families this Yuletide.

    “We thank MFM for what they have done for us, they have done so well, we appreciate them and may God bless them.

    “It’s not easy for the poor, look at the crowd here, if not for MFM, what will be our hope? What we have received can take us for weeks,” one of them said.

    MFM repairs roads, offers scholarships in Lagos

    The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM)  FESTAC mega axis has given scholarships to 48 students and offered food items to the poor. 

    It also repaired public roads and provided free medical support, including free medications and diagnosis. 

    These took place during the men’s deliverance and economic empowerment conference in Lagos. 

    Festac Mega Axis Regional Overseer (MRO) Festac Mega Axis, Pastor Irabor Enojiasun, 13 indigent  children of widows,  the needy  and the vulnerable as well as 35 children of ministers and workers in  the church benefitted  from the schorlarships. 

    Enojiasun said MFM FESTAC Mega Axis is towing the path of the General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, who is burdened about community development. 

    On the community road repair Initiative by the Church, Enojiasun  said the gesture was part of Olukoya’s Explosive Evangelism Initiative(EEI) borne out of community service. 

    According to him: “Repair of roads by MFM Festac Mega Regional Headquarter is in response to the deteriorating condition of public roads in our area, particularly 71 Road Junction, opposite Mosque, and by the plaza behind Energies Filling Station, along 7th Avenue Road, Festac.

    “We launched the road repair initiative to improve the safety and accessibility of our community’s infrastructure, and demonstrate the church’s commitment to community service and outreach. 

    “Materials used by the church are

    4 units of 5 tons tipper, 1 units of 15 tons tipper 3 units of 30 tons tipper. The Residents of D Close, 7th Avenue, Festac, in a bid to support the church

    donated 2 units of  30 tons and 2 units of 20 tons tipper.”

    The  Chairman of 7th Avenue Otunba Akin and the vice chairman commended the church for the constant  laudable intervention.

    On the Mega  African  Praise Programme,  The Mega Regional Overseer,  Enojiasun said there is need to thank God for  life regardless of what individuals and the country are passing through. 

    He said the special thanksgiving service programme brought healing to souls amid depressing challenges bedevilling individuals and country at large.

    MFM GMOV holds economic, empowerment seminar Saturday

    All is set for the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) God’s Men of Valour *(GMOV)* international headquarters, Economic Empowerment, Seminar and Trade Fair programme on Saturday.

    It holds  from 8am to 6pm at the Multipurpose Hall, University of Lagos, Akoka. 

    MFM General Overseer Dr Daniel Olukoya will declare the seminar / trade fair  with the theme ” “Innovative and successful businesses in today’s world” open.  

    The aim is to bring collection of bright minds and most innovative companies under one roof to enhance business growth, provide network opportunities, educate and empower small scale businesses by interacting  with the best professionals from different industries. 

    According to the GMOV  Global Chairman, Pastor  Kunle Adesanya, it is an avenue for the church to impact positively on the members in terms of enriching their business acumen, exposing them to current trends in today’s business world as well as creating a platform for people to showcase their goods, products and services.

    Adesanya also said the programme, which is an  initiative  of Olukoya is for men, women, and youths. 

    There will be a keynote address on the topic Kingdom business by the Vice Chancellor, Mountain Top University, Professor Elijah Ayolabi. 

    This will be followed by two lectures.

    The first lecture is titled Strategies for successful business in today’s world by Mr Oscar Macaulay 

     MD/CEO McDaniel Personal Care Limited  while the second is titled Maximizing your business potential by Pastor (Mrs) Nike Faseun.

    The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) has concluded plans to hold its 35th anniversary and 2024 annual convention in August, with a series of spiritual activities lined up for the dual celebration.

    Assistant General Overseer, Ministerial Schools, Pastor Kehinde Adegbolahan, disclosed this at a press conference, heralding the three-day event, with the theme, ‘Power from on high (Luke 24:49),’ holding from August 16 to 18 at the Prayer City, Kilometer 12, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

    Adegbolahan said the Ministry believed 35 years was a landmark worthy of celebration and rejoicing.

    “To the glory of God, who had manifested Himself in the lives of MFM members and used the Ministry to bless so many other believers, who had been sharing outstanding testimonies to God’s kindness,” he said.

    He said members of the MFM across the seven continents would be attending.

    “A lot of preparations have gone into the entire Prayer City, to make it wear a new look and accommodate a larger number of participants.

    “We are using this opportunity to invite everyone to come and celebrate Jesus Christ with us, in consonance with the Biblical observation of Jacob in Genesis 28, verse 16: ‘Surely, God is in this place’”, he said

    The clerics assured participants lots of things had been put in place to ensure optimum security, crowd and traffic management.

    He said “All apparatus, various groups have been put in place to ensure that there is no direct conduct of activities in the prayer city. The same thing goes to the issue of traffic management. By the special grace of God, all of these things are going to be properly aligned to ensure that there is no jam, there is no confusion, there is no incident to bring about any trouble for anybody.

    “So everything is fully prepared for the convention. And we are trusting God that everything goes smoothly.”

    The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) is set to celebrate its 35th anniversary and 2024 annual convention in August with a series of spiritual activities planned for the occasion.

    Assistant General Overseer, Ministerial Schools, Pastor Kehinde Adegbolahan, announced this during a press conference.

    The three-day event, themed “Power from on high (Luke 24:49),” will be held from August 16 to 18 at Prayer City, Kilometer 12, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

    Adegbolahan emphasised that the 35-year milestone is a significant occasion for celebration and gratitude, honouring God’s work in the lives of MFM members and the broader Christian community.

    He highlighted that MFM members from across the seven continents, as well as believers in Jesus Christ from within the country, are all expected to attend and partake in the festivities.

    Speaking on the testimonies of Christians, non-Christians, MFM members, and non-members alike, he stated: “Indeed, God has been faithful to the charge He gave to our father in the Lord, Dr. Olukoya, 35 years ago. We believe this milestone calls for celebration, as a gesture of appreciation to God, and to encourage His continued blessings.”

    The clerics assured that extensive measures have been implemented to ensure optimal security, crowd control, and traffic management for all participants.

    On activities lined up on the occasion, Pastor Clement Imoru, deputy chairman of the Convention Planning Committee said the first day, Thursday, August 16, marks the arrival and registration among other activities.

    Imoru added: “On Friday, by the grace of God, there will be teachings on the theme for the convention. Various pastors will be coming to give lectures. There will be concerts which will be coming intermittently, as the teachings are going on. But on Saturday, we’ll have concerts of various kinds. When it comes to music, we are at the forefront.

    “So, lots of music presentations, concerts and the rest. And then we have the youths as well as teenagers and the children coming to do presentations. And most important of all, we’ll also have award ceremonies. Award ceremonies to appreciate religions and pastors who have put in their best this past 35 years to move the ministry forward.

    “On Sunday, we’ll have Thanksgiving, and also we’ll have Holy Communion in Toronto. So, that’s briefly what we can tell you about activities.”

    On memorable events in the Ministry, he said: “Am sure if you are listening to most of our programmes, you can hear the testimonies that are coming from people of how the Lord has used this Ministry to bless the lives of people. We cannot count the things the Lord has done these past 35 years in touching the lives of people.”

    In a bid to capture souls for Jesus Christ, which is the Great Commission, Mountain of Fire and Miracles has held its World Evangelism Day.

    During the programme, all Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) across the world embarked on a tract war to share the word of God with the unsaved.

    According to the General Overseer of MFM, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, World Evangelism Day is needed to help rescue the masses from depression, confusion, hardship, hatred, and lack to mention a few amidst various challenges bedevilling the country and world at large.

    Olukoya revealed that most of the prevalent situations in the world are signs of the endtime hence the urgent need for soul winning to rescue souls from hell.

    According to him, the Tract War is part of the Explosive Evangelism Initiative (EEI) of the church, adding that MFM constantly embarke on prison evangelism, hospital and cell evangelism, food evangelism to the downtrodden and helpless, motor park evangelism as well as evangelism to ‘area boys’ amongst others.

    Olukoya said  evangelism, which is God’s heartbeat, is utmost to the church apart from deliverance prayers which the church is known for.

    The General Overseer added that Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM ) is constantly involved in prison evangelism,  food evangelism /food gifting (where food is constantly shared with the less privileged/’area boys’, vulnerable and street children), motor parks evangelism,  evangelism/visits to orphanages/homes, police station/cell evangelism, to mention a few.

    His words, “The church exists for nothing except they draw souls to the Lord, the cathedral is a waste of time if we are not drawing men and women to Jesus Christ. The Great Commission, which is soul winning, is not an option. It is a commandment we must obey. As a church, we won’t watch souls die, we can’t sit down in Zion with the world around us being confused, and we won’t watch people perish. We must passionately ensure that souls are not lost. As a church and body of Christ our passion is to win souls for Christ that’s why all our programmes are targeted towards winning souls for Christ.”

    Olukoya said through the Tract War/Evangelism programme of the church, thousands of souls have been won to Christ while lives and destinies have been captured and restored from destruction and death.
