Highlight of the anniversary was the launch of N500 million fund to expand the television station.

Adeyemo told The Nation he was grateful to the church for the recognition.

President of Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev Israel Akanji, in his sermon: “Release and Releases,” said those who give to God will be rewarded in multiple folds.

He believes the N500 million will fast-track the church’s dream of transforming NFTV to a cable television.

Akanji said the choice of the awardees was informed by the desire to recognise those who worked to expand God’s vineyard.

The station, dedicated to propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ, has not deviated from its mission since inception.

A leading voice in the Christian community, it celebrated a decade of success in delivering the gospel.

“Despite challenges faced by the station, NFTV has not stopped maintaining its commitment to delivering high-quality programming, professional excellence and audience engagement.

“It has remained true to its mission of sharing the love and truth of Jesus Christ with its audience,” Nigerian Baptist Convention said.
