    Actress Nkechi Blessing has apologised to Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner Imisi over a question she asked during her birthday party, which sparked widespread backlash on social media.

    Imisi, who turned 24 on Tuesday, threw a lavish birthday bash with celebrities in attendance.

    Spotted at the party were Eddie Watson, Bisola Aiyeola, Kiekie, Nkechi Blessing, Mercy Eke, Brodashaggi, BBNaija Kola, Mide, Mitchy, Isabella, Kayvee, and more.

    During a question-and-answer session at the party, Nkechi Blessing had asked Imisi if she would ever forgive and reconcile with her mother, referencing the reality star’s strained relationship with her birth mother.

    The question drew intense criticism from netizens, who deemed it insensitive and inappropriate.

    In a video message, Nkechi Blessing expressed regret for any offense caused, saying, “I sincerely want to apologise to anybody who got offended by the question I asked Imisi a couple of hours ago at her party. If you find my question offensive, I am sorry. Find a place in your heart to forgive me. Whoever is dragging me, fighting me, abusing me, please don’t be offended”.

    She maintained that she was not seeking to stir controversy or chase clout.

    The controversy stems from Imisi’s mother publicly claiming that her daughter had abandoned her after winning the Big Brother Naija show.

    Imisi has since emphasised that she prioritises her family and is taking care of her mother.

    Imisi won the N150 million grand prize in October 2025, beating nine other contestants, including Dede and Koyin, who finished second and third, respectively.

    Actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has expressed frustration and exhaustion over an overwhelming surge of unsolicited messages and marriage proposals from men on Facebook.

    In a video on Instagram, Nkechi revealed that she wakes up daily to thousands of messages from men of various ages and locations, all introducing themselves, inquiring if she’s truly single, and expressing intentions to marry her.

    She described her WhatsApp inbox as chaotic, flooded with over 5,000 unread messages from these admirers.

    Nkechi explained that she has repeatedly tried to remove or change her phone number on Facebook without success, and blocking or archiving chats no longer makes a difference due to the sheer volume.

    She emphasised that while she is indeed single and a mother of one, she is not searching for a husband and has no interest in romantic pursuits right now. 

    “Please, I need help on how to remove my phone number from Facebook. I have over 5000 men in my dm saying they want to marry me, I don’t know which video trended online, please, I am single, but I am not searching, stop texting my number” she said.

    Actress Nkechi Blessing has announced her decision to take a break from film production, citing significant financial losses.

    According to her, she has spent over 80 million naira producing movies since September, without receiving any substantial returns.

    Nkechi wrote, “I no do again abeg…I have spent over 80 million naira producing movies since September and I haven’t gotten 1m back…I no do again abeg make I go back to flying round d world…As una no gree watch film if the Movie is not over hyped,I don try the ones we were there for self no even fit help…I am done abeg!”

    Her announcement has sparked a wave of support from fellow celebrities, including Tonto Dikeh and Eriata Ese, who are urging her to remain resilient in the face of adversity.

    Tonto Dikeh emphasised the importance of perseverance, “Give up? Who is permitting that sin? Not on my watch.

    “What do we do/Post? Send it to your friends. We will Share it everywhere. You are a helper and we will do the same for you effortlessly. We don’t accept defeat here. We don’t even condone it.

    “Spit it out and declare “I forgive myself for thinking less of what God can do with the work of His hands my life. We rise. We push. We win”.

    While Eriata Ese reminded Nkechi that success rarely comes easily and that consistency is key.

    “Remember that good things don’t come easy, it may look like a waste now but in time to come you will remember today and say “I thought it wouldn’t work” na who give up Fk up, consistency is key don’t forget”, she wrote.

    The actress’ struggles highlight the challenges faced by many in the Nigerian film industry, where production costs are high and returns are often uncertain.

    “Despite being a newcomer, I was given a script to sleep with a dog. I rejected it because I can’t start my career like that. Imagine my first ever movie, I am sleeping with a dog.

    “It doesn’t make sense. It is going to be a tag because whatever you start with is what people would associate you with. I didn’t want to be renowned as someone who sleeps with dogs in movies.

    “So, I rejected that script. But immediately, I threw it down, and so many girls grabbed it. I’m not sure any of them are in the limelight today,” she stated.

    Nkechi Blessing emphasised her confidence in her natural body, stating, “This is my body, this is how I’ve always been. I have a six-year-old son. You get BBL and you dey take picture of my natural body, are you stupid?”

    Actress Nkechi Blessing has announced return to her Mainland home after narrowly escaping death for the second time in two months due to a collapsed POP ceiling in her Lekki residence.

    The movie star, who shared a video of the wreckage on social media, expressed frustration at the substandard construction in Lekki, where developers allegedly sell poorly built homes at exorbitant prices.

    “Hey baby, see you soon, or maybe an elder sister loading.
    I built this house in 2021, and to date, not a single thing don shift. The way these Lekki developers build substandard houses and give it out at ridiculous prices is alarming. But I no do again. D Ashiere wey Dey abuse me say I build house inside bush, don leave me for d lekki run go back her village.
    Make me sef Dey go back my bush, Lekki Ese ooo,” she wrote on Instagram.

    Nkechi’s ordeal follows a similar incident in June where Bolaji Ogunmola survived a car accident and a collapsed sitting room POP ceiling.

    Similarly, BBNaija’s Chichi escaped unharmed when her bedroom POP ceiling fell, expressing gratitude to God.

    Skitmaker Zics Aloma also narrowly avoided disaster when his living room POP collapsed, thankful that he and his crew, who had slept in the room days earlier, were unharmed.

     “You give me, I give you, and then everybody go dey okay. Then you now run kitikiti–katakata, you were crying because of just one line. But you, you write plenty now. Like I said, I’m not a celebrity. You bring rubbish to me. I give you rubbish back”, she said.

    Captioning her post, she wrote: “Nobody sees the trigger, they only see your Reaction. What a world we live in…Like I said, Aura for Aura. Nobody can mess with my mental health, never”.
