    Obasa, Adeola hail Ambode’s victory

LAGOS House of Assembly Speaker Mudashiru Obasa has described the Supreme Court judgment on Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s victory as the right tonic for the executive council members to begin their work.

The victory, Obasa said, was the nail in the coffin of the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“That the people love Ambode and APC is not in doubt. This Supreme Court victory is a final legal seal in the victory of our governor and the party,” he said.

The senator representing Lagos West, Solomon Adeola, said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Jimi Agbaje, should have seen the handwriting on the wall when his party abandoned him after his loss at the Court of Appeal.

Adeola said with the distraction over, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode can now concentrate on delivering on the mandate given to him by Lagosians.
