    Reality star Omashola welcomes second child with wife, recalls past heartbreak

    Former Big Brother Naija housemate Omashola and his South African wife, Britnee Malin, have welcomed their second child.

    In an Instagram post, Omashola reflected on a past relationship where an ex-partner asked for five more years to consider marriage after dating for over five years.

    According to him, he moved on, participated in Big Brother Naija, married Britnee, and now celebrates their growing family.

    He humorously noted his ex might be surprised seeing his success, adding that he’s thriving with his “two Oyinbo” kids despite being over 40. 

    He wrote: “What God can not do doesn’t exist, one of my exes when I beg that year to marry me and set up a family after over 5years of dating, she say make I give her another 5years to think about it, at my age. Na I carry my bag move one time 5years today I don go big brother come back marry the must beautiful girl in the world, plus God still de bless me everyday on top. 

    “Today she go de think say na film trick looking at my post, I still drop 2 Oyinbo after 40th ( I go lie for you )  baby ex 5 years nah water wish you all the best with pisses of my that year”.

    Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Omashola Kola Oburoh, popularly known as Omashola has shed light on his unconventional wedding ceremony. 

    The Nation reported that the reality star tied the knot with his South-African wife, Britnee Malin in December 2023. 

    Following the cases of naira abuse which warranted the arrest of Bobrisky, Omashola revealed the reason behind his use of fake money during the event.

    Captioning his latest post on his instagram page, he said: “Use me as a poster boy for the EFCC campaign against Naira abuse.

    “I remember introducing the facemask in 2020 before the COVID hit Nigeria people been de laugh me. Same thing happened in my wedding December 2023, them say i de spray fake money, I tell Una say he get why. Thank God man pikin for don de inside for 6month now

    Responding to a fan in his comment section who mentioned that it was the people who attended his wedding that sprayed the fake money and not him, he asserted that it was a deliberate strategy to prevent real money loss. 

    He said: “@yuhbenui4 everyone spray fake money at my wedding I make sure of that so money no go lost as a sharp warri boy”.

    Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Omashola Kola Oburoh, aka Sholzy, has revealed that culinary skills are due to the fact that he was born in the kitchen.

    According to him, his mother gave birth to him while pounding yam in the kitchen.

    He disclosed this in a Valentine’s special interview with Pulse his South African wife, Britnee.

    Omashola said being born in the kitchen has proven to have a positive effect on him as he cooks even better than his wife.

    He said: “I am a better cook than my wife. By the way, I was born in the kitchen. My mum was cooking pounded yam when she gave birth to me.”

    The Nation reported that Omashola and his longtime lover, Britnee tied the nuptial knots in Lagos last December, years after welcoming their first child together.

    Although Britnee has resided in Nigeria since their marriage, she is celebrating her birthday today, prompting her husband’s heartfelt tribute on social media.

    Omashola vowed to ensure her birthday celebration is an unforgettable affair, promising to infuse it with the vibrant energy typical of Warri.

    Big Brother Naija reality star, Omashola Kola-Oburoh, has rolled out pre-wedding photos with his South African fiancée, Britnee Malin ahead of their December 23rd wedding ceremony. 

    The 41-year-old posted the photos via Instagram on Tuesday, December 19. 

    In the photos, the reality star and his soon to be wife are dressed in matching outfits with their son, Eyitemi.

    He said: “When I finally find someone to spend the rest of my life with..23/12/23.”

    The Nation reported that Sholzy, in an interview with media personality, Hero Daniels, described his romance with Britnee as love at first sight.

    He stated: “The very day I met my woman, I told her I was gonna marry her. The first day I set my eyes on her, I said you’re gonna be my wife, you’re gonna have my kids, we’re gonna get married.”

    Omashola and his partner welcomed their son in January 2022.

    In a recent video, Omashola shared the priceless joy on his son’s face after he acquired his Nigerian passport aside from his South African passport.

    The 22-month-old child could be seen in the video dancing and jumping around as he gushed over both passports in his hands.

    Big Brother Naija All-Star Omashola Kola Oburoh has journeyed down his fatherhood experience and what it means to him.

    Featuring as a guest on Hero Daniels’ podcast after his eviction from the reality show, he dwelled on the importance of breaking generational trauma between father and son.

    Omashola described his fatherhood as a beautiful journey, while stressing to be a present father to his son.

    He promised to do provided for his son the things he was deprived off as a child because he never lived with his dad. 

    He said: “Fatherhood is beautiful, me growing up, I didn’t really grow up with my dad due to some family problems. But I grew up with my uncle who is actually my dad right; now my mom’s sister’s husband, and he took me in like one of his own.

    “It made me open my eyes to a lot of things and father right now and I won’t say that I’m the best father in the world but yes if you want to compete with me come outside cuz I feel I’m literally the best father in the world that’s because I tried to give my son every single thing my dad did not give me.”

    “I tried showing the love that I didn’t get, I try to pay attention to the things that I know I would have loved to be paid attention to in the past. So I’m always there for him and whenever you need my help is always there, always in my prayers every day and I can’t stop telling my son ‘I love you’ a lot. It’s wild cuz in our time I don’t think any of us can literally look our fathers in the eyes and say I love you they’d slap you and ask what is that? I want to teach my son how to love his father,” he added.

    Omashola uniquely proposed to his longtime girlfriend in 2021.

    Evicted Big Brother Naija All-Stars house guest Omashola Kola Oburoh aka Sholzy West has explained meeting his South African fiancee was an immediate romantic feeling.

    He described it as love at first sight with the conviction that he would get married to her. 

    Sholzy stated this in a recent interview with popular media personality Hero Daniels.

    Omashola and his fiancée welcomed their first child together, a boy named Eyitemi, in January 2022.

    He said: “The very day I met my woman, I told her I was gonna marry her. The first day I set my eyes on her, I said you’re gonna be my wife, you’re gonna have my kids, we’re gonna get married.

    “I’m one person who believes in faith. I told God, ‘Please it’s time. I want to settle down. I have lived this life so much. It’s too fun now. I need to dilute it a little bit. I need a family.’

    “I told God when you see the person just point it for me and he did. So that’s just it. When I saw my fiancee, I knew that we were going to get married.”

    The couple will have their wedding in December.
