Former Big Brother Naija All-Stars house guest, Omashola Kola Oburoh aka Sholzy said he graced the screen one more time to show appreciation to fans and the organisers of the show.

The father of one and businessman disclosed this during a zoom interview over the weekend.

Expressing excitement for going on the show again, Omashola noted that everything that happened on the show was real and never staged.

He said: “The reason I came back for the show was to appreciate Biggie for calling me back and to show everyone out there that I owe some appreciation.

“You must appreciate people; it is good. Appreciation is necessary, even for God. Even God says if you do not praise me, I will raise stones to praise me,” he said.

Speaking on his next move after the show, Omashola said he had he been engaged in businesses before the show like real estate, logistics and nightclub.

He said he would be resuming those businesses and looking into music production as he realised he could do well in the music industry.

“Going forward, I will be going back to my businesses. I have my apartment, “Blue Superior”, that I was managing before going for the show; I have my logistic business, picking people from the airport to their hotels; and I have one of the biggest nightclubs in Africa.

“So, I am going back to what I was doing. I have been doing good. Also, I was doing movies before the show; I contacted some of the producers to tell them I was still available, and they responded,” he said.

Big Brother Naija All-Stars evicted houseguest Omashola aka Sholzy, has predicted a female housemate will emerge winner of the season.

He said any of the three most talked about female housemates in the house, Ilebaye, Mercy Eke and CeeC could win it.

He said he would be happy if any of them emerges winners, stressing that he was delighted that the trio had all booked their spots in the final.

Omashola said the trio were among his BFFs during his tenure as Head of House because he was close to all of them.

He spoke in an interview with content creator Phindzzz.

He said: “I have my three favourite housemates up there in the final already: Mercy, Ilebaye, and CeeC. Those are my girls.

“I’m happy with them. We had a nice bond. That’s why I picked three of them as my BFFs, because I love them equally. I love their vibe. They make me laugh, and I make them laugh equally.

“So, if any of them wins, I’m happy with it. If any of them wins, I go still get small cut from them.”

Omashola however pointed out Cross is also a strong contender for the prize.

Big Brother Naija All-Stars house guest, Omashola aka Sholzy has requested a loan from Biggie.

Omashola made the request on Tuesday while having his diary session with Big Brother.

He told Biggie to loan him money for a particular project which many speculated to be his upcoming wedding celebration in December. 

He also begged Biggie to call him back for a private diary session later to negotiate the amount he needs and how he’s going to refund him.

Omashola said: “I have a project I want to run. I know you’re a generous guy.

“Don’t ask for my account details now. Don’t dash me. This is like a loan, even if it’s to pay you back small, small. Biggie, just call me back in here, and I’ll tell you how much I want. I know I am a guest, so I can’t get the N120million but just consider this one.

Biggie: “Big Brother will consider your request.

Omashola: “Thank you sir. Thank you, daddy, but don’t forget the request.”

Big Brother Naija All-Stars houseguest, Omashola, aka Sholzy, has convinced himself that petite ladies have the most issue with anger.

He made the assertion while conversing with CeeC, Whitemoney and Mercy Eke on Monday.

CeeC had claimed that she never wanted to be tall, stressing that men prefer petite women but Omashola and Whitemoney disagreed with her.

She said while growing up, her mum said she was going to be the tallest among her siblings but it turned out to be the opposite.

CeeC said: “When I was small, my mom used to say I would be the tallest among my siblings. But look at me now. I don’t like being tall though. I’ve never wanted to be tall. Majority of guys like petite girls.”

Mercy concorded: “Me too. I like being petite. I’m the shortest in my family.”

Sholzy inferred: “Na lie. Short women get anger problem. My woman is tall.”

Whitemoney cut in: “I prefer tall women; she go come get shape.”

Big Brother Naija All-Stars housemate Doyin David has claimed that Omashola is a fake housemate.

Doyin, who confronted Omashola on Saturday, stated he cannot win the grand prize because he is a fake housemate.

Omashola, who is indeed a fake housemate and Head of House, insisted that he would be one of the finalists.

Doyin: “You’re a fake housemate. And even if you’re not, you can’t win.

Sholzy: “I know, maybe because I came in late, but I know I go reach finals because I’m Omashola Kola Oguro.

“When you go home tomorrow, you go see say I no be fake housemate. Make a video and keep for me, I go watch am when I come outside.”

Reality TV star and businessman, Omashola Oburoh has admitted sincere love for his colleague, Mercy Eke, affirming that she deserves nothing less than the finest treatment and that he would readily choose her as his Best Friend Forever (BFF) all over again.

Discussing his reason for picking Mercy to join him in the HOH lounge as a BFF, Sholzy in his emotive diary session showered Lambo with accolades.

He recounted that after announcing his upcoming wedding later in the year, all the housemates applauded, but Mercy’s extraordinary gesture left him profoundly touched and forever endeared to her.

The father of one said that Mercy accepted to offer free accommodation and a car to his family and friends who would be coming to Nigeria for his wedding ceremony, a gesture that deeply moved him.

He said: “This is what Mercy did, Baba. She took me to the garden and told me, ‘I had a four-bedroom apartment in Lekki and a car I might not be using. If you need it, I can give it to you. So, when your people come, they’ll have a place to stay and a car to move around’.

“Tell me, who on earth does that kind of a thing? I didn’t ask her for it nor did I beg her.

Then Biggie retorted: “A true friend.”

Omashola screamed, ‘Thank you’, in agreement

He continued: “Big Brother, if you tell me there’s only one person I will take upstairs as a BFF, I’ll pick Mercy all over again. That girl deserves gold, she deserves raw gold.

“And that thing touched my heart. This was three weeks ago, not today. It’s not like I won the head of house then she came to me and said, ‘Omashola, blah blah blah, no! She came to me on her own. And she won my heart.

“When she came to South Africa, I didn’t do too much for her like I did to every other housemate. I don’t need to say what I did for every other housemate, they’ve said it with their mouths; how much I took care of them.

“But for Mercy, all I did was just security. I was like her chaperone. I really didn’t do much, so I don’t deserve that much from her either. She doesn’t have to but she did. And I asked her, ‘Are you serious?’ Even a friend won’t do that. That’s what much more than a friend can offer.

Sholzy also noted he would willingly give up his vote for Mercy if he had to because of that singular act, describing the man who’ll end up marrying her as truly lucky.

He added: “Big Brother, I don’t care what anybody says in this house, I’ll pick that girl again and again. And if I even have the opportunity to vote for people in this house while here, I’ll vote for her. And cancel my own vote to vote for her because there are things that people do…

“You can give a man a million naira and all that but how you make a man feel, good or bad; he’ll never forget it in his lifetime. And that’s one thing I know I’ll never forget. Even if it’s going to happen or not but for the fact that she offered a hand at that point in time like that; Big Brother abeg the girl off me. I love that girl die. I love her die!

“Whoever she’s going to get married to, that person is a lucky person. That person should just be thanking God because this girl, she’s different; I swear to God. So, that’s why I picked Mercy and I will not hesitate to do it again.”

BBNaija guest housemate Omashola Oburoh, also known as Sholzy, has provided an insightful analysis of CeeC’s personality, challenging the prevailing public perception of her.

He said CeeC’s true nature differs significantly from the image people have of her, stressing that the narrative about her outside the House doesn’t accurately represent her real, humorous, playful, and delightful character.

Sholzy shared these thoughts during his diary session, explaining why he chose CeeC as one of his best friends to share the HOH lounge with him.

He revealed that he conducted thorough research on the housemates before entering the show but has since realized that CeeC is a person who has been unfairly judged based on her outward appearance.

He said: “I picked CeeC because; I’ve not really met her in the past, right?! I have a different mindset about her from what I’ve heard outside.

“Of course when I knew I was coming here, I had to do a little bit of research about different housemates. And CeeC was one person I was really ‘worried’ about in terms of not having a connection. And you know Omashola, I don’t want people crossing my path because we’ll end up fighting.

“But she’s one person I was really. Really worried about it. But again, don’t judge a book by its cover. Since I’ve been in this house, she’s actually one person I’ve connected with conversation-wise, she’s playful; it’s; like two different persons.

“You know, it’s not like what I heard is what I’m seeing. We could communicate with people; we could literally communicate.

“So, I feel like, if I’m going to be up there, I want to be with people I could literally have fun and communicate with. And my communication is not like I want to sit down and have a therapy session with you, no! I’m a funny guy! I want to laugh, I want to have fun. I want you to be happy. I want people around me to be smiling. And since I stepped into this house, that’s what she’s been doing, smiling.”

Omashola Oburoh, a recently introduced housemate, Omashola Oburoh, also known as Sholzy, has voiced his dissatisfaction with Biggie’s choice not to include him among the initial 20 BBNaija housemates selected from past seasons for the ongoing All Stars edition.

Well-known for his high-spiritedness and humorous expressions, Sholzy shared his feelings with Biggie during his diary session on Wednesday as he expressed his disappointment in being “overlooked” by Big Brother. 

He recollected moments he was treated with contempt by others which necessitated his name change to Sholzy as Omashola seemingly felt synonymous with ‘failure’.

But he lit up in-between his chat session with Biggie, appreciating him for eventually reaching out to him and revealing his reason for the ‘GOAT-themed’ appearance at his unveiling on the show.

Sholzy said: “2019, you tell me say, ‘Sholzy don’t worry, I will call you. There’s always a big brother to talk to’. Four years, you did not call me. You called 20 for Big Brother All Stars; you still did not call me.

“I was telling myself that if Big Brother call me, I no go come. Because me I don vex and I no even know how you look like. I’m telling you with my church mind, you fall my head.

“You know Emeka come dey tell me say I no get level. My level dropped completely. I’m grateful you called me sha o! No be say I dey ungrateful. Shame catch me sef I no be wan use that name anymore.

“I decided to change my name to Sholzy because Omashola wey dem feel say suppose dey like first five. Like we have a football team where Jay Jay Okocha dey, Ronaldo dey; that’s why I came here with the goat. Because I know say I be goat.

“You come put me for bench, second half naim you put me. You fall my hand. As a super sub, that’s why I came in here as a goat. You fall my hand.”

But Biggie cut in, assuring Omashola of his importance to the show’s organiser’s following his enviable accomplishments across countries

He said: “Sholzy, Big brother has watched you from a distance. Big Brother has seen you do marvelous things in different countries.”

Omashola then replied: “You sure? Big brother you dey whine me o! You just want make I hug you. Okay, I’m sorry, no vex.”

Reassuring the 42-year-old Warri businessman, Biggie added: “How could Big Brother abandon the goat?”
