He wrote: “I’m seeing the video of ten people getting up and walking after Pastor Chris told them to get up, and I’m also reading some strange comments about it.

“I encountered him many years ago. I remember being on a healing line, seeking healing for my left hand, which had complications from surgery. At the time, there were still issues with the procedure.

“He had not yet started the healing school then. It was a Monday, and the program was called “Faith Clinic.” The church was not nearly as large as it is now.

“He walked up to me in that line, held my left hand, looked at me without blinking, and said, “Healed.”

“Fast forward to today… years later… my left hand remains healed. I had shared this story before; those who follow me closely must’ve heard me say it. There are many reasons why I believe God heals through Pastor Chris. You cannot take that experience away from me. And he teaches the word. I do know what I know”.

Media personality Pere Egbi has weighed in on the controversy surrounding the on-pitch disagreement between Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman, calling for restraint and urging fans to stop demanding Osimhen’s removal from the team.

The incident occurred on Monday during Nigeria’s knockout match against Mozambique, despite Lookman having provided the assists for Osimhen’s two goals earlier in the game.

Video footage of the encounter showed Osimhen charging towards Lookman, who remained composed throughout the exchange.

Reacting to the backlash, Egbi stressed that the Super Eagles could not afford to lose Osimhen, describing the Napoli striker as a crucial asset to the national team.

He also criticised those calling for sanctions, questioning their understanding of football and underscoring Osimhen’s value to Nigeria’s campaign.

Egbi warned that failure to resolve the disagreement could undermine the team’s cohesion and negatively affect Nigeria’s chances of winning the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

He also addressed rumors about Osimhen’s supposed “bad attitude” being the reason Chelsea didn’t sign him, dismissing the claims as baseless and pointing out that Osimhen had turned down Chelsea in the past.

“Lol, so Chelsea came for him and he turned them down, but world people are out here saying the guy’s attitude is bad that’s why no club wants him. Una do well o, Nigerians. Una go soon vex these boys, dem go start to play rubbish now, and then everybody go rest”, he added.

Nollywood, despite being the world’s second-largest film industry by output, producing over 2,500 films annually, has faced criticism for inconsistent production quality and challenges such as piracy and limited infrastructure.

The South African film industry, on the other hand, has made significant strides in recent years, with a growing reputation for high-quality productions and innovative storytelling.

BBNAIJA: Pere Egbi backs Sabrina amid re-entry drama

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Pere Egbi has expressed support for Sabrina Idukpaye after she was denied re-entry into the show despite being medically cleared to return.

Pere, via his X account said, if Sabrina was declared fit to re-enter the house and hadn’t had any communication with the outside world, she should have been allowed back in.

According to him, he finds it hard to understand why the organisers would make such a decision, especially given Sabrina’s medical clearance.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Pere Egbi after Sabrina’s immediate exit due to medical reason and now that she is fully well organizers of BBnaija have refused her entry back to the show.

Egbi wrote: “If she was declared medically fit to return into the house and she didn’t have any communication with the outside world, news, media etc, she should have been let back into the house! Geeeeesh. I couldn’t sit through the whole video. You’re loved Sabrina”.

Recall that Sabrina, a contestant on Big Brother Naija Season 10, recently revealed that she’s been denied re-entry into the show despite being medically cleared to return.

She left the house on August 11 due to health complications, specifically water retention and painful symptoms, which required more specific care than what could be provided in the house.

After receiving medical attention, Sabrina said she was declared fit to continue participating in the show.

Fans have shown their support for Sabrina, empathising with her pain and frustration.

  • BBNaija is an ‘Emotional War Zone’ — Pere Egbi

BBNaija is an ‘Emotional War Zone’ — Pere Egbi

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Pere Egbi has described the reality show as an “emotional war zone,” stating that the experience inside the Big Brother house leaves a lasting impact on anyone who goes through it.

In a reflection shared on social media, Pere said the Big Brother house is a high-pressure environment where emotions run high due to the isolation from the outside world and constant proximity to strangers.

“A lot of people will never understand what goes on inside the Big Brother house until they’re in there themselves. It’s easy to judge from the outside, but that house is a pressure cooker for emotions,” he wrote.

Pere explained that contestants are locked in without access to phones, books, music, or the internet — left only with their thoughts and fellow housemates.

“You’re locked in with people you barely know. No escape. Just you and those faces every morning, afternoon, and night. Over time, those faces stop being strangers. They become your everything.”

He said this setup breaks down emotional barriers and magnifies every interaction. Relationships form quickly and deeply, but conflicts are just as intense — with no chance to walk away or cool off.

“Love can be real, raw, and messy,” Pere added. “And when there’s conflict, you’re forced to live with the same people who hurt or irritate you. That house changes you — forever.”

“With no external distractions, your only stimulation comes from conversations and human energy. You start noticing things you’d normally overlook: a smile, a laugh, the way someone looks at you during a task. The smallest things become huge.

“Feelings? They develop fast. You’re waking up and sleeping next to the same person daily. That kind of constant proximity breaks down emotional barriers. Even if you came in with something serious outside, the environment tests that.

“You may fight those feelings, but for how long? 99% of the time, you surrender. And if it’s genuine, it will either elevate your game or destroy it completely. Love in that house isn’t a strategy most of the time. It’s real, raw, and often messy.

“But it’s not just about love and affection. Even conflicts are amplified. You’re in a house where you can’t walk away. There’s no storming out to cool off. You’re forced to live with the same people who hurt you, irritate you, or trigger you.

“Your coping mechanisms are stripped. No friends to vent to. No mum to call. No car to drive away in. Your emotional bandwidth is maxed out. So sometimes you explode. And when you do, the world watches and judges a moment they’ll never fully understand.

“It’s a psychological experiment in real time. A blend of cabin fever, emotional exposure, performance pressure, sleep deprivation, and constant surveillance. What you see on screen is only half the story. The rest lived in silence.

“So before you criticise a housemate for falling in love, getting in a fight, or breaking down in tears, remember: it’s not just a game. It’s an emotional war zone where survival sometimes looks like surrender.

“Big Brother isn’t just a show. It’s a human experience. One that changes you forever. And unless you’ve lived it, you’ll never fully understand the choices made inside that house.”

Pere Egbi reacts to Buhari’s death, cautions mockers

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Pere Egbi has reacted to the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Nation reported that Buhari passed on Sunday in a London hospital.

Describing the day as sad for Nigeria and Nigerians, Pere prayed for God’s comfort and strength for Buhari’s family during this difficult time.

According to Pere, Buhari led Nigeria to the best of his ability, giving his all to the country despite not being perfect.

“This is a sad day for Nigeria and Nigerians. May God grant your family the fortitude to bear this great Loss. You led Nigeria to the best of your ability. While you weren’t a perfect man or leader (because no man is and no man will ever be), you gave your all to the country you”, he said.

Pere also addressed those rejoicing over Buhari’s demise, cautioning that death renders all earthly concerns irrelevant.

He emphasised that once a person passes away, they are “wiped clean off the earth,” and nothing else matters to those left behind.

Pere encouraged Nigerians to respect the deceased, regardless of individual opinions about their life and legacy, and to focus on the fact that the departed will face divine judgment.

He wrote: “Blast him while he’s alive. Express your displeasure while he’s breathing. Protest, criticize, say your piece boldly and loudly. But once he’s gone, for the sake of those he left behind, the wife, children, family, show some restraint. Put your rage in the trash for a moment.

“Let grief be handled with dignity. Civility doesn’t mean silence; it means you still have your humanity intact. People who celebrate D death of another human being because of political grievances aren’t “liberated” they’re enslaved by bitterness. You don’t heal by glorifying death.

“You just expose how much you’ve let pain disfigure your humanity. Grief is for the living. Judgment is God’s. Blaming him for hardship and loss is valid. What’s not valid is assuming that not cursing a dead man equals endorsing his actions. That’s a shallow equation.

“Logic demands we separate justice from vengeance. Philosophically, celebrating death doesn’t heal, it simply mimics the cruelty we claim to oppose.

“I never absolved him. I only said: when someone is gone, shouting at their grave does nothing. The dead don’t hear you. The living do.

“If your morality only functions when there’s someone to hate, it was never morality, it was just noise”.

How I made N8m profit on my N200m cinema film – Pere Egbi

Actor and producer Pere Egbi has corroborated Femi Branch’s claims about the challenges faced by filmmakers in Nigerian cinemas.

Egbi shared his personal experience with his film, “The Silent Intruder,” which he claimed was unfairly treated by cinemas.

In an Instagram post, Egbi thanked Branch for speaking out on the issue and revealed that he had planned to wait until the end of January 2025 to take action.

Egbi claimed that he spent over N150 million of his personal funds on producing “The Silent Intruder” and borrowed an additional N11 million from a friend in London.

According to him, he spent over N200 million in total.

Despite this significant investment, he said the film only made N53 million in cinemas, when he personally earned just N8 million.

He expressed frustration that the film had not been picked up by streaming platforms like Netflix or Prime Video, despite being released almost 11 months ago.

Egbi stated that he had to leave Nigeria and return to America to work and pay back the loan he took to finance the film.

The actor and producer vowed to take matters by his own hands, threatening to release the film on YouTube himself if nothing changes by the end of January 2025.

He wrote on Instagram: “Dear Femi Branch, I came across your video, and I want to say thank you for speaking out on this issue. Every single thing you said is pure facts. Honestly, I was planning to wait until the end of January 2025 before making any moves, but at this point, I’m saying, “F*** it, let’s go!”

“This nonsense some cinemas do—hiding films, poor screen times—it happened to The Silent Intruder, my film. I spent over 150 million naira of my personal funds just on production, borrowed another 11 million naira from a friend in London, and still ended up being shown shege by cinemas. Imagine spending over 200 million naira (pre-production to post-production), and the film only made 53 million naira in cinemas. Out of that, I personally got just 8 million naira.

“It’s been almost 11 months since its release, and I’ve seen no Netflix or Prime Video deal. Meanwhile, films that premiered alongside mine are already streaming. Because of all this mess, I had to leave Nigeria and return to America to work, just so I can pay back the kind-hearted woman who lent me the money.

“At this point, I don’t care about being blacklisted. If nothing comes through by the end of January, I’ll release the film on YouTube myself. Enough is enough”.
