    Pere hurt me most in the house, says Ilebaye

    Big Brother Naija All-Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya has described co-housemate, Pere as the one who hurt her the most in the house.

    Recall that the 22-year-old was bullied by other contestants who felt she was too young to relate with them.

    Ilebaye and Pere had a father-and-daughter relationship in the house.

    But the duo’s relationship turned sour after Biggie played a video of Pere ganging up with other housemates to make Ilebaye get a strike.

    However, speaking in a trending interview on social media after the reality show, Ilebaye said she saw Pere as an elder brother but he betrayed her trust.

    When asked, “Who’s hurt you the most in the house?”

    In response, Ilebaye said: “Pere. Because in the house, I called him my dad. We always played, and I actually cared for him. And I genuinely liked him. And he hurt me three times.”

    Big Brother Naija All-Stars finalist Pere has explained why he chose his mother’s State rather than his father’s state of origin.

    The US military trainee said he doesn’t like associating with Delta State because his dad has never been part of his life.

    He said he chose to be from Bayelsa State because it was his mother that took care of them.

    He disclosed this in a recent interview with media personality, Hero Daniels.

    Pere said: “I like to say I’m from Bayelsa State because my mum is from Bayelsa. My dad, however, is from Delta State. My father has never been a part of my life at all.

    “He left when I was about 4 and my younger sister was 3. He used to live in America before I was born. He came from America and married my mum, and then went back to America. A bunch of things happened, and my parents ended up separating. So, I was raised only practically by my mother.

    “I’m the first child and the only boy. My mum was the only one who did everything to make sure we had shelter, good education.

    “She paid our school fees from kindergarten to secondary school. And then, I left Nigeria for the United States to do a nursing degree. But before that, I joined the US military and served for six years. After serving, I came out and started my degree.

    “I grew up in Warri because that was where I was born.”

    He said the absence of his dad did not affect him because there were “other male figures in the family who stepped in and played the fatherly role properly.”

    Former Big Brother Naija All-Star Housemate, Pere Egbi, has expressed strong disapproval for disrespect, especially from the younger generation

    During an Interview with Media Personality Toke Makinwa, Pere discussed the importance of respect from Ilebaye and others

    Recall that Ilebaye was dragged several times by the housemates during the show for being disrespectful to them.

    Some of the housemates were under the impression that the 22-year-old girl showed disrespect to them in certain instances.

    During an interview with Toke Makinwa, Pere disclosed that he had issues with Ilebaye because she showed disrespect sometimes and didn’t find it comfortable.

    Pere said: “Ilebaye sometimes gets very disrespectful. I don’t like disrespect, especially from a younger person.”

    Reality Tv star Pere has expressed desire to venture into music.

    He said when he was a Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye finalist, he would like to feature award-winning singer Tiwa Savage when he starts his music career.

    Pere was once again on our screens during the BBNaijaAllstars show and he was one of the most talked-about participants due to his relationships, and clashes with fellow housemates.

    Pere has been in a number of nollywood movies, including The Perfect Arrangement, April Showers, and the popular TV series The Men’s Club.

    However, he stated in a recent IG live session that he wishes to pursue music full-time.

    According to him, many people have praised his nice voice.

    Pere and Uriel once shared a bond in Biggie’s house, including bathing together, leading to the idea of having children together someday.

    However, following Uriel’s eviction from the show, Pere moved to Mercy Eke in the finale week and has since established their romantic relationship.

    Former Big Brother Naija All-Stars housemate, Pere Egbi has boldly refused any meeting that will warrant him being in the same space with his colleague, Alex Unusual.

    The Nation reported that the duo had an intense altercation over a bed space during their stay in Biggie’s house.  Pere angrily flipped Alex out of the bed she was lying in.

    When asked about his fight with her in a viral video on Friday, Pere denied knowing her.

    However, speaking during an interview with Miracle OP on Monday, Pere stated that he would prefer to engage in a conversation with the devil than with Alex, noting that his decision to distance himself from her is a deliberate choice.

    Pere said: “I will avoid the seat. Even if Jesus comes down. I will tell him to bring someone else who I offended. I would rather sit down with the devil before I sit down with her.

    “That’s how much I don’t want to sit down with her. Let everyone stay where they are, avoid me. No grudges, I just don’t want that energy.”

    Big Brother Naija former All-Stars housemate Pere Egbi has showered accolades on colleague, Kim Oprah for mediating between him and best friend, Cross.

    He said contrary to the popular belief, Kim Oprah didn’t come between them but proffered solutions to get them back together.

    Speaking with Clout Africa, he debunked the narrative that the love triangle between himself, Kim Oprah and Cross cost him his friendship with Cross. He clarified that she actually saved their friendship by settling their fight.

    Pere said: “No, I think Kim Oprah saved the friendship. because she actually brought us together to have a conversation where she made us talk to each other about what the issues were. So no, Kim Oprah did not come between my friendship with Cross, rather she helped it. When she came in, she helped us settle the quarrel we had before.”

    Back in the BBNaija All Stars house, there was a bit of drama between the two men because of their feelings for Kim Oprah.

    Cross had interrogated Pere asking why he didn’t tell him about his feelings towards her, considering their history as close friends.

    Pere had then defended himself saying that since he had already told her about his feelings, there was no need for him to tell him.

    Kim Oprah inferred, blaming Cross for not figuring out that Pere liked her and the conversation then concluded without them addressing who she really liked and wanted to be with.

    Based on Pere’s recent interview, it appears everything is good between them now.

    He has since moved on to Mercy Eke with whom he shared a passionate kiss in the house, after numerous weeks of teasing.

    Recall that he declared that he would choose Mercy over Kim Oprah a thousand times over.

    Ex-Big Brother Naija All-Stars housemate Pere Egbi has opened up on his unfiltered likeness for colleague, Mercy Eke, which he affirmed is mutual.

    The Nation recalls that the duo was engaged in a hot romance in the final week of the just concluded BBNaija All-Stars season.

    Speaking in a recent interview with Africa Magic, Pere told Ebuka Obi-Uchendu that he had developed a likeness for Mercy even before the show.

    He said: “I saw Mercy Before the show, I was having a conversation with Cross, I know that she likes me and I like her.

    “So there’s a mutual likeness. That should be the beginning of everything, whether it’s friendship or anything. We both like each other genuinely.”

    On his relationship with KimOprah, Pere said, “There was nothing romantic with KimOprah. She has always been a friend. It’s just platonic friendship. I’ve known from outside the House. We’ve hung out several times. It was nothing out of the ordinary.”

    BBNaija All Stars housemate, Pere Egbi recently sent an affectionate message to former house guest, KimOprah, expressing how much he misses her company on the show.

    Pere and other five finalists were tasked to write a letter to their favourite evicted housemates or guests.

    General Pere, as he is fondly called, decided to write to Kim, revealing she took pieces of him when she exited the show.

    He also claimed to have bits of her with him, anticipating a reunion soon where they could bask in each other’s company, reeling in the bond of friendship that existed between them before their appearance on the almost concluded show.

    Meanwhile, the Head of House, Cross also dedicated his letter to KimOprah.

    The Nation recalls that during her time in the House, KimOprah was embroiled in a love triangle with Cross and Pere.
