A global leader in lifestyle and wellness direct selling, QNET, has stressed the need for countries around the world to reskill so as to bridge the jobs gaps created by the emergence of emerging technologies.

According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, advancements in technology and the green economy will create 78 million new jobs worldwide by 2030.

The report however stressed the need for education reform and reskilling to bridge the skills gap created by emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence (AI) and ensure that individuals are well-equipped for a rapidly evolving job market.

QNET’s Regional General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Biram Fall, who spoke during a brief ceremony to mark this year’s the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) International Day of Education, reaffirmed the commitment of the company to enhancing educational access for learners of all ages through its innovative e-learning platform, QLearn.

“Education is more essential than ever as AI reshapes industries. With QLearn, we are committed to empowering individuals and fostering adaptability through innovative learning solutions that help shape brighter futures,” he said.

This year’s theme: “AI and Education: Preserving Human Agency in an Automated World,” emphasizes the critical role of education in preparing individuals for the challenges and opportunities in an AI-driven future.

  • QNET’s Decades of Growth and Success Show It’s Not a Scam

QNET’s Decades of Growth and Success Show It’s Not a Scam

From its beginnings in 1998, QNET has grown into a global lifestyle and wellness powerhouse, offering premium products through a distinctive grassroots business model that spans more than 25 countries. The company’s expansion challenges persistent misconceptions about its business practices, demonstrating a legitimate enterprise that connects consumers with high-quality wellness, luxury, and lifestyle products.

“Our business model is direct selling, meaning that we are a people-to-people business,” Trevor Kuna, chief marketing officer, explained. “We develop products, people that want to earn money from business, they promote our products to other people, so it is basically like word-of-mouth marketing.”

The direct selling industry often faces skepticism, particularly when critics conflate legitimate business practices with scams and pyramid schemes. However, QNET’s revenue structure fundamentally differs from scams, providing micro-entrepreneurship opportunities rather than traditional employment. Independent representatives operate their own businesses, selling QNET’s products and building sales teams.

The direct selling industry requires strict adherence to ethical practices and transparency, which is why QNET provides comprehensive training and support to its independent representatives, ensuring all activities align with legal and ethical standards.

    QNET Fighting Scams Through Education

QNET maintains offices and agencies in over 25 countries, supporting a growing network of independent representatives and customers. Its Global Support Centre has received numerous industry awards and operates in 12 languages across 14 international hubs. This support network ensures customers and representatives receive assistance in their preferred language, with trained specialists available across multiple time zones.

QNET’s commitment to quality products sets it apart from questionable operations. The company’s extensive product line includes the HomePure Zayn air purifier, known for its advanced technology and efficiency, and the luxury Swiss watch and jewelry line Bernhard H. Mayer, which blends traditional timepiece craftsmanship with modern aesthetics.

QNET’s corporate foundation has supported community development projects in dozens of cities worldwide. The company holds memberships and industry accreditations with international trade bodies and has garnered numerous awards for service excellence. This commitment to corporate responsibility extends to environmental initiatives, demonstrated at their recent V-Malaysia 2024 convention, where sustainable practices included eliminating single-use plastics and supporting reforestation efforts.

Understanding the importance of protecting its reputation and customers, QNET launched the Say NO! Awareness Campaign in collaboration with Transblue Limited Nigeria and local authorities. This initiative combats fraudulent schemes that exploit vulnerable individuals by misusing reputable brand names. The campaign operates across multiple countries, including Burkina Faso, Nigeria, and Senegal, focusing on three core strategies: raising awareness of scams, fostering collaboration with partners, and educating communities about deceptive practices.

    Success Stories and Real-World Impact

The legitimacy of QNET is best illustrated through the success stories. Take Anup Debnath, a 51-year-old QNET customer who recently set a Guinness World Record as the oldest person to perform continuous back handsprings, completing an impressive 20 repetitions. Debnath attributes his extraordinary achievement to a commitment to fitness supported by QNET’s wellness products.

“To accomplish something like this at my age takes intense dedication, a consistent fitness regimen, and harmony of mind, body, and spirit,” Debnath explained. He credits the Amezcua Chi Pendant 4 for maintaining his energy and focus.

“Anup’s achievement is extraordinary, and we are incredibly proud to have played a part in his journey,” stated Kuna.

While skeptics might dismiss wellness-enhancing products as questionable, QNET’s Chi Pendant 4 exemplifies the company’s commitment to evidence-based wellness technology. The pendant combines modern engineering with traditional principles in its unisex design. The octagon-shaped copper alloy incorporates the flower of life pattern and proprietary Amezcua Resonance Technology. The product aims to support overall wellness through what QNET describes as a harmonizing effect on the body’s biofield, particularly beneficial for those maintaining busy modern lifestyles. The pendant, designed to harmonize physical, emotional, and mental energies, works with other Amezcua products like the Bio Disc 3 and Bio Light 3 to support his training and recovery.

“His belief in QNET’s Amezcua products reflects our mission — helping people achieve balance and wellness in every aspect of their lives,” stated Kuna. “Anup’s story is a testament to discipline, resilience, and holistic well-being. We celebrate his inspiring feat and his commitment to greatness.”

The decision to join QNET’s network of independent representatives isn’t one to make lightly. Kuna shared this guidance for potential entrepreneurs: “Be intentional about the company you keep — surround yourself with individuals who inspire you, challenge you, and bring out the best in you. Their positive energy and constructive perspectives will compound, helping you grow into the best version of yourself. Remember, you are the sum of the people you invite into your world. Choose wisely, and watch how your circle transforms your life.”

The sustained growth and success of QNET, coupled with its comprehensive support systems, product innovation, and commitment to compliance, present a clear picture: This is a legitimate company that’s built its success on providing quality products through a direct selling platform, not the scam operation its critics sometimes claim it to be.

  • How direct selling can curb unemployment

How direct selling can curb unemployment

With a projected value of $204.89 billion by 2032 which will speed up economic growth in the country, QNET, an E-Commerce giant has called on the government to look towards direct selling to curb unemployment and poverty.

The company disclosed this during a product workshop for journalists and unveiling of new products held at the weekend in Lagos.

Among the newly introduced products was the Amezcua E-Guard X, a compact sticker for electronic devices that transforms harmful Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) waves to beneficial frequencies to users.

Inspired by nature’s geometric patterns, visual demonstrations of the product showcased its positive impact on blood samples, reflecting healthier cell activity.

Through its marketing model, QNET said over 8,000 entrepreneurs had been empowered including 1,350 from local communities within its two years existence in the country.

Sub-Saharan African General Manager, Biram Fall, who noted that Africa currently accounted for about five percent of the economic/financial strength of direct-selling, said there was no doubt that the continent and in particular, Nigeria holds a brighter future should it fully embraced the trend.

Fall said QNET was no doubt solidifying its footprints in the country whose population was projected to exceed that of the United States in the next few years.

“The global direct-selling industry, valued at $167.7 billion in 2023, is projected to grow to $204.9 billion by 2032. This represents a significant opportunity for Nigeria’s direct-selling market to support economic development and foster financial independence for entrepreneurs.

“We are committed to empowering individuals and supporting enterprise development through our business model. This workshop represents an opportunity for stakeholders and media partners to experience our dedication to quality and innovation firsthand,” Fall said.

The QNET boss who cleared misconceptions surrounding the company’s operations, said it was committed to ethical and legal standards across the 25 countries it currently operates.

Noting the significant growth QNET has recorded in Nigeria, Fall gave credit to the logistics partnership it has with Transblue Nigeria Limited.

He emphasised that the company has been in business for 25 years, adding that it has successfully put in place an innovative business model that blends direct selling with e-commerce to offer products that enhance lives and promote well-being.

Fall explained the potential health effects of prolonged exposure to radiation from devices like smartphones and Wi-Fi routers, which today’s world can not do without.

“Our Amezcua line, including the Chi-Pendant 4 and Bio-Disc 3, is designed to enhance well-being and promote a healthier lifestyle. These products leverage advanced technologies to mitigate EMF radiation effects, improve well-being, and promote healthier living,” he said.

QNET’s Category Manager and Global Trainer, Bernhard Gaksch, further explained the Amezcua products, using the Chi-Pendant 4 and Bio-Disc 3 as examples.

He explained the ability of the Chi-Pandant 4 to preserve the body’s biofield, combat stress and fatigue, adding that the Bio-Disc 3 restructures water molecules to boost hydration, immunity, and energy levels.

He further clarified that the Bio-Disc 3 was not a water purifier but more of an energiser, adding “when paired with the Bio-Light 3, the Bio-Disc 3’s benefits are amplified through chromotherapy, which emits specific light wavelengths to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and improve sleep.”

QNET provides 8,000 youths with direct selling skills

With the direct-selling industry projected to grow to $204.89 billion by 2032, e-commerce giant QNET, has urged government to leverage this sector to tackle unemployment and poverty.

At an event in Lagos, QNET unveiled products and showcased its commitment to empowering entrepreneurs. Among highlights was the Amezcua E-Guard X, a compact sticker to transform harmful electromagnetic fields (EMF) into beneficial frequencies.

QNET also trained over 8,000 to enhance their direct selling skills, a move sub-Saharan African General Manager, Biram Fall, said is key to Nigeria’s economic potential. He noted while Africa accounts for five per cent of global direct-selling, the continent has growth opportunities given its population and market potential.

“The global direct-selling market, at $167.7 billion in 2023, is expected to reach $204.9 billion by 2032. This is an opportunity for Nigeria to harness direct selling to drive economic growth and financial independence for entrepreneurs,” Fall said.

Fall noted QNET’s ethical standards and innovation-driven model, combining direct selling with e-commerce to offer life-enhancing products. Highlighting Nigeria’s adoption of QNET in two years, he credited partnerships like the one with Transblue Nigeria for driving success. He explained the health benefits of QNET’s Amezcua products, designed to mitigate EMF radiation and promote well-being.

QNET’s Global Trainer, Bernhard Gaksch, noted products like Chi-Pendant 4 and Bio-Disc 3, which enhance hydration, energy, and immunity. He said while these products are not water purifiers, they serve as energisers and health enhancers. For instance, the Bio-Disc 3’s benefits are amplified with Bio-Light 3, which uses chromotherapy to reduce inflammation and improve sleep.

Akeem Ajisafe, chief executive officer of Transblue noted QNET’s efforts to educate Nigerians about its products and direct-selling opportunities. He said QNET’s Independent Representative system enables individuals to earn sustainable incomes without requiring significant start-up capital or office space.

“This approach builds entrepreneurship skills, creates wealth, and expands Nigeria’s tax base,” Ajisafe said. “QNET offers unlimited economic opportunities for citizens, especially the youth.”

Mitchell Ofoyeju, commander of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at Tincan Island Port, lauded QNET’s people-focused initiatives. He noted empowering youth with opportunities can curb crime and drug abuse.

  • Inside Look: How QNET India Is Revolutionizing Micro-Entrepreneurship

Inside Look: How QNET India Is Revolutionizing Micro-Entrepreneurship

Small businesses are often the heartbeat of local and regional economies across developed and developing nations. This is especially true considering the vital role of over 120 million individuals engaged in direct selling globally, a sector where QNET India has made significant inroads.

The gig economy creates approximately 56% of new jobs in India. Given its expected significant expansion in the near future, it’s reasonable to predict that the gig economy could create millions of job opportunities nationwide. Through its innovative business model and diverse product portfolio, QNET India empowers thousands to embark on entrepreneurial ventures despite challenges and misconceptions about its operations.

There is a global disparity in job availability, with some regions having more jobs than workers and others, especially emerging economies, facing high unemployment rates among women and youth. QNET India cuts through this inequality by offering a low barrier to entry for those aspiring to own a business. This inclusivity enables individuals to start their direct selling ventures, paving the way for sustainable income generation.

“For many women, career advancement in a corporate organization is often a challenge for a number of reasons, including family commitments. Hence, women find this an attractive business since they can plan their schedule, decide how much time they want to allocate to it, balance their personal commitments with the needs of the business, and get a lot done from the comfort of their home,” says Malou Caluza, the company’s first female CEO.

    Premier Products and Comprehensive Training

The company’s diverse range of products spans the health, wellness, lifestyle, and education sectors. In India, it offered a particular monofloral honey productthat’s produced by a social enterprise that supports farmers and tribal communities in rural India. These products are marketed directly to consumers, bypassing traditional retail channels. This direct-to-consumer approach allows for personalized customer service and product experiences, setting it apart in the direct selling landscape.

This empowerment leads to job creation and contributes to the economic development of local communities. Moreover, QNET offers comprehensive training and support to its independent representatives, covering product knowledge, business management, and leadership skills. Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement ensures that independent representatives are well equipped to succeed in their entrepreneurial endeavors.

The company’s global reach also offers unique opportunities for Indian entrepreneurs to tap into international markets, further expanding their business prospects. This global perspective encourages cross-cultural exchange and innovation, enriching the entrepreneurial experience for its independent representatives.

Before joining QNET, V Partner Kavita Sugandh said, “I was very negative about direct selling.” Since finding success as an independent representative, she shared, “This business works and can take you where you want to be in life.”

Beyond financial achievements, the company’s structure and operational strategies have made it easier to commit to sustainable practices. Customers today demand sustainable products and eco-friendly packaging, areas where QNET India has focused on aligning with consumer preferences for green alternatives.

As the firm continues to navigate the challenges and opportunities within the direct selling industry, it is committed to ethical business practices and consumer protection. The company’s efforts to revolutionize micro-entrepreneurship in India are transforming lives by providing a path to financial independence and personal growth.

Nonetheless, there needs to be more clarity about the legal status of the company’s grassroots business approach.

Why QNET Is Banned in India?

QNET is not banned in India. The lifestyle and wellness company has adapted its business practices to comply with the Indian Ministry of Consumer Affairs’ Direct Selling Guidelines issued in 2016. These guidelines mandate clear and transparent business practices, including the prohibition of pyramid schemes and the assurance of a consumer refund policy.

To legitimize its operations further, the company has taken steps to register with relevant local authorities where required. This helps ensure its business operations are recognized and monitored under local laws. The company ensures that all its products meet Indian standards and regulations by obtaining necessary certifications and approvals, including adherence to safety, health, and quality standards set by various regulatory bodies.

It has implemented clear and transparent business and marketing practices. This includes accurate representation of products, transparent disclosure of terms and conditions related to business opportunities, and a strict code of ethics for independent representatives. In line with regulatory requirements, the company established a grievance redressal mechanism to promptly address any complaints or concerns from consumers or independent representatives, encompassing customer support channels and escalation procedures to resolve grievances efficiently.

The question “Why QNET is banned in India?” often arises from misunderstanding and misinformation. Contrary to some reports, the lifestyle and wellness product-focused firm is not banned anywhere in the world that allows direct selling. However, the company has faced scrutiny and legal challenges. These issues stem from the confusion between legitimate business practices and illegal pyramid schemes. It’s essential to distinguish between the two. While pyramid schemes prioritize recruitment over actual product sales, leading to unsustainable business operations, QNET’s model emphasizes product sales and offers genuine business opportunities.

With every entrepreneur it empowers, QNET India is not just revolutionizing micro-entrepreneurship; it’s crafting a legacy of positive impact and enduring success.
