    Seyi Awolowo needs to apologise to my parents – Ilebaye

    Wnner of the BBNaija All-Stars season Ilebaye has said colleague Seyi Awolowo needs to apologise to her parents for disrespecting them while on the show.

    In an exclusive interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Ilebaye was asked what Seyi said during the BBNaija edition show.

    The interviewer said: “Seyi said that you do not have home training.”

    In response, Ilebaye added: “Well, I’m just hearing it, literally, I’m just hearing it for the first time. I’m telling you, I’m 100 percent just hearing it for the first time. I didn’t even watch what happened inside the house. Even if I’m going through TikTok, I just see ‘Ilebaye love and light’ and scroll.”

    Chude: “So this is my exclusive, so I’m now telling you on behalf of the public that Seyi said you don’t have home training. What’s your response to that?”

    Ilebaye: “My parents trained me so well, and that’s what I’m proud of. I’m grateful for my mum and dad for taking their time to groom me to become who I am today.”

    “So I’ll just tell him, thank you; that’s all I can say. I hope if he sees my parents, he should apologise to them, not me. I’m cool, I’ve forgiven him.”

    Former Big Brother All Stars contestant Seyi Awolowo has tagged the reality show experience a different kind of prison with extreme precautions.

    Seyi stated this during an interview with media personality, Toke Makinwa.

    Toke Makinwa during the interview, probed into Seyi’s most controversial moment in the house, where he claimed to have opened a miscellaneous account for his son to enable him to have sex with people’s daughters.

    In response, the reality star said: “I didn’t know when I said it, I was in a rant. Being in the Big Brother house, it’s a different kind of prison, you know when you agree to extreme conditions, you tend to underestimate the term ‘extreme conditions’ and I think I was at my breaking point at that time.”

    Seyi was also asked why he agreed to be on the show for a second time, if it was so extreme.

    He said: “Life is a double edged sword. At the time I didn’t have any projects at hand. And I was open to marketing myself better so that I could be able to raise funds for my own works that I wanna do.”

    The Nation recalls that Seyi Awolowo’s first step into the spotlight was in 2019 during the ‘pepper dem’ season.

    Evicted Big Brother Naija All-Stars housemate Seyi Awolowo is worried about the training ladies of the ‘new era’ get. 

    He said the manner in which women portray themselves these days is alarming making him question the kind of training they got.

    Seyi lamented this while featuring on Pulse’s One On One hosted by former reality star Christy O.

    He said: “I’m old school. The way the women of my time raised me if different from the women of now. So, I definitely will be opinionated in that direction just so they are clear. When I was growing up, trust me, my mum would have long conversations with me with just her eyeballs. And my aunties. I had a lot of women around me, so I was trained differently to see women like that.

    “The way women are beginning to portray themselves these days is scary. I mean this new era. And I’m trying to get used to this new era which is the reason why I am being labelled with these hash words. Word that will make me toxic to other brands.”

    The Nation reported that Seyi earned backlash and was labelled misogynistic after he bragged while on the reality show that he is training his son to run trains on people’s daughters.

    He later apologised to ladies for his mean and offensive statement.

    Evicted Big Brother All-Stars housemate Seyi Awolowo said he cares less about people’s opinion about his personality and traits.

    During an interview on Pulse Nigeria’s One-on-One program, Seyi reacted towards his eviction, considering how he felt that he’d emerge victorious in the end.

    Expressing his indifference, he said: “Coming out knowing that a lot of people hated me, what is life without hate? A lot of people hate me for being who I am, Too bad for y’all, I’m still me.”

    The father of one said that it doesn’t matter what people think of him as he doesn’t regard the opinion of people who do know him personally or have had a one on one encounter with him.

    Seyi also expressed his firm belief that being hated by people is inevitable and he does not care.

    He then added that one can only know if hating him is worth the stress after getting to know him.

    He said: “There’s no time, if you don’t know me you can’t love me, if you take the time to know me, or you look for me and know who I am, then you would know if it is worth it to hate me or love me. Find out who you are hating before you hate the person.”

    The reality star has been facing backlash from the public since making derogatory and worrisome comments during his time in the house.

    He hinted at someday allowing his sons indulge in non-consensual three-way with people’s daughters.

    Evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Seyi Awolowo, has made a U-turn days after apologising for his vile and derogatory statement towards women.

    To exonerate himself, Seyi during a live video interview, insisted that his words had been “taken out of context” and also questioned perspective on the matter.

    While he acknowledged the need to apologise for any negative impact his statements may have had, Seyi Awolowo also stated that he believed the context of his words had been misconstrued.

    He further explained that he felt strongly about addressing the behavior of certain individuals he had referred to as “badly behaved women.”

    Seyi Awolowo stated: “I think I’m old school and I was raised a certain way. I don’t think I should compromise it for anything in the world, especially trying to make excuses for people.”

    This suggests that he still stands by his initial sentiments, though he regrets any offense his words may have caused.

    Seyi Awolowo also spoke on his respect for women, highlighting his close relationships with them.

    He mentioned that he was raised by a woman, namely his mother, and that he counted many female friends among his closest associates.

    These connections, he explained, were the basis for his belief that his comments had been misconstrued.

    Nollywood actress and producer, Kemi Lala Akindoju, has berated BBNaija All Stars housemate, Seyi Awolowo, over what she terms ‘disgusting’ and an unflattering comment he uttered to his fellow housemates.

    The Nation reported that Seyi while in a discourse with some male co-housemates, affirmed that he would train his sons to ‘run train’ on people’s daughters.

    He added that he would create a miscellaneous account where he would deposit money to give to his sons to enable them to carry out his plans for them.

    ‘Run a train’ means when multiple men take turns to have s3x with a woman with or without consent.

    Reacting to Seyi’s comments via a series of posts on Twitter, Akindoju lamented that the comment is disgusting” and smacks of irresponsible parenting.

    She opined that Seyi does not like women but sees them as objects.

    The thespian also urged viewers to take note of those who laugh over Seyi’s comment.

    She said: “Seyi actually doesn’t like women. Sees women as objects and believes he is superior to him and his kind to trample on. He has consistently made this very clear. It’s also important to note that there are people who listen and giggle with him when he’s making these comments.

    “Irresponsible parenting, then boasting about it.
