    Ondo governor appoints Seyi Law as SSA

    Ondo state governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed popular comedian Oluseyi Aletile, aka Seyi Law, as his senior special assistant on entertainment and tourism.

    The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced by the chief press secretary to the governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, in a statement released on Monday, July 29.

    Seyi Law’s appointment is part of a broader shake-up in the governor’s office, which saw the appointment of several other individuals as senior special assistants in various capacities.

    The new appointees include Alonge Felix Kolawole (Social Investment), Hon. Tomide Akinribido (ICT), Allen Sowore (Strategic Communication), Femi Lawson (Public Enlightenment), and Rotimi Agbede (Citizen Orientation).

    Also appointed were Muyiwa Ogunleye (Community Integration), Rotimi Wemimo Akinsola (Agric & Agribusiness), Uzoma Egbulefu (Non-indigenes), and Chief Olufunke Adu (Market Women Relations).

    Others are Mrs Eko Davies (Traders Affairs), Kike Isijola (Digital Media), Mrs Dupe Adetuwo (Arts & Culture), Oriade Adebanwo (Emergency Response), Fadesola Ojamomi (Inter-Party Affairs), Oladimeji Olawale (Intra-Party Affairs), Akinboni Samuel (Party Affairs), and Bello Titus Abiodun (Innovation).

    The governor’s office also announced the appointment of Special Assistants for mobilisation and representation of non-indigenous communities in the state and they include, Hon. Ejor Agagu (Mobilisation), Oluyemi Damilola Grace (Mobilisation), Isaiah Igwe (Non-indigenes for Igbo – North), Francis Belohun (Non-indigenes for Igbo – Central), Uche Okafor (Non-indigenes for Igbo – South), Mohammed Jamil (Non-indigenes for Hausa – North), Goniya Garuba (Non-indigenes for Hausa – Central), Issa Umar Mohammed (Non-indigenes for Hausa – South), Tenuche Fatai (Non-indigenes for Ebira – North), Alhaji Abdulkadir Adinoyi (Non-indigenes for Ebira – Central), Alhaji Abdulkareem Ododo (Non-indigenes for Ebira – South), and Imo Owoh (Non-indigenes for others).

    Governor Aiyedatiwa’s move is seen as a strategic effort to enhance governance and service delivery in the state, particularly in the entertainment and tourism sector, which is expected to benefit from Seyi Law’s expertise and experience.

    The multi-faceted personality posted captivating photos of their journey together over the years on his Instagram page, describing their marriage as incredibly beautiful.

    He reflected on the 13 years since they exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends.

    He wished his wife and their kids a happy anniversary as he cheered on to make more years with her.

    Seyi Law apologises, settles beef with Noble Igwe

    Controversial comedian Seyi Law has settled the feud with colleague, Noble Igwe.

    The Nation reported that Seyi Law had, in a recent podcast interview, vowed to go physical on Noble Igwe whenever they meet for allegedly making a post about his wife which led to someone calling her derogatory names.

    However, Seyi Law disclosed via his X page that he and Igwe have squashed their differences.

    He also apologised to the Igbos for his “distasteful” social media comments.

    Seyilaw wrote: “I spoke with my brother, Noble Igwe @Nobsdaslushhkid, and he has my utmost respect for his responsibility to his people, and I personally tendered my apology to him for any of my tweets that he found distasteful towards the Igbos.”

    “He promised to henceforth “desist from interfering with the Igbos, their politics and historical perspectives no matter my reservations”.

    Popular comedian Seyitan Lawrence Aletile better known as Seyi Law has reached out to his colleague, Bovi Ugboma via his Instagram page to tell him how thankful he is to him.

    He shared a photo of the comedian, describing him as a good man, stating that he couldn’t appreciate him enough.

    Although not disclosing what the comedian did for him, he expressed gratitude to him and prayed for more blessings.

    Comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has revealed how he lost over 200,000 followers over the 2023 presidential elections.

    He disclosed this while featuring as a guest in a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, aka Nedu, Toun Cole, and Husband Material.

    The comedian said: “I lost over 200,000 followers because of the election, which for me, is not a problem. 

    “The most important thing is that whatever you do, try as much as possible to draw that you’re doing it from the right place. 

    “Whatever you do, are you sure that you are doing it from the right place? Is it fair to those concerned? If you’re not being fair, don’t do it.”

    Stand-up comedian Seyi Law has renewed hope that regardless of the challenges bedeviling the country, Nigeria will greatly succeed.  

    Giving hope to netizens, he stated that he believes Nigeria will greatly succeed and he knows it.

    “My name is IDILEOYE OLUWASEYITAN LAWRENCE ALETILE. Some people call me SEYILAW (BCFR).

    I BELIEVE NIGERIA WILL GREATLY SUCCEED. I JUST KNOW IT”.

    Controversial comedian, Seyitan Lawrence Aletile,popularly known as Seyi Law has finally opened up on his beef with his colleague, Noble Igwe.

    The Nation reported that Seyi Law, during an interview with Nedu on The Honest Bunch podcast, had threatened to beat up the media personality on sight.

    The full interview finally dropped on Monday and Seyi Law revealed his reason for despising Noble Igwe.

    He claimed that during the election, Noble made a post and dragged his wife into it, which made some of his fans troll her, stating that someone called his wife an outcast, which left him enraged.

    Seyi Law made it known that he would never forgive Noble Igwe until he apologies to his wife and if they ever met, he would beat up the media personality.

    “If there is somebody in my industry that I will never forgive, Noble Igwe. I will never forgive him. I am mentioning it publicly, I will never forgive him till he apologies to my wife.

    “During the election, he made a post and put my wife’s name, and someone under the comment called my wife an outcast.

    “So if Noble Igwe dey heat or watch this program, the day our path crosses, if Noble mistakenly touches my body, I will beat him to the extent that the world will ask what he did wrong,” he said.

    Stand-up comedian, Seyi Law has drummed up support for the legendary rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem over the tons of backlash he has received for the past few days.

    Taking to his Instagram page, he stated that God bears him witness that he never had a side any discussion about the allegation he made against him in his recent interview.

    He stated that maybe Eedris misunderstood his jokes but that doesn’t stop him from pitying him over the backlash he has received from different people.

    Wishing him well, he noted how nobody is infallible to mistakes and he hopes people will let things go.

    Minimum Wage will increase, Seyi Law assures Nigerians

    Comedian and strong supporter of President Tinubu, Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has promised to support and not neglect or abandon a government he helped come into power.

    He also expressed optimism that the economic situation will get better.

    Seyi Law was at the forefront of social media advocacy for the current government during the electioneering campaign in 2023.

    The foreign-based comedian came under fire on social media following the worsening economic hardship.

    However, reacting on his X handle, the comedian said: “My fellow Nigerians, I laugh not at your pains and I know there’s a lot of hardship right now.

    “The fact that I supported a different candidate from you isn’t to spite you but out of my belief that my candidate will achieve a better Nigeria. I can’t abandon the government that I voted for. I can only join them to bring relief to Nigerians.”

    He claimed he was in Abuja talking with some government officials to bring hope to Nigerians.

    “I am currently in Abuja, and I am talking with some people in the government. My efforts might not mean much to you now, but I am praying it brings hope to your hearts again. The cost of governance will reduce, minimum wage will increase, and food affordability will improve.

    “I supported ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU, not against you, but for YOU. I am not begging you to stop the abuse. I made my choice, and I stand by it. We shall overcome as a people and come out a GREATER NATION”.
