“I just wanted to impact people and ignite something within them. This is my purpose, Bovi’s purpose is to impact lives with laughter, I impact people with this,” she began. “I hope they take home fulfilment and hunger to do something different. If you’ve been doing the same thing and it’s not working for you or you need some change, I think with the things we talked about today in class if you practise it everyday I’m sure everybody can achieve what they want.”

“Years later, my children came and we were talking. We always sit and talk. So, I started telling my children about things. And one of my kids, my daughter, told me, which was even more important to me, ‘Mummy, I’m so glad you did what you did because seeing you going to get your dream, made me realise that I should go get it. At your age, you can do this. That means I can do it, there’s no limitation. That used to be my regret but look at how God turned it around. So, it’s no longer a regret.”

Other celebs spotted at the event were Asiri, The Pamilerin and reality TV stars, Pham Savi, Saskay, and Saga.

Speaking on the initiative, the founder, Lagos Food Bank, Michael Sunbola said: “This is to raise awareness about our school feeding programme and we want to help children stay in school. One of the ways to help children stay in school is to ensure that when they are in class they are concentrating and their tummy is filled. In Lagos, there are over 2 million out-of-school children. One of the ways to reduce the dropout rate in school is through a school feeding program which is what we are doing and also giving incentives to less privileged families. The high cost of living and increase in prices of food is limiting the purchasing power of several less privileged families and the least we can do is rally around the players in the food value chain to address what I refer to as humanitarian crises.”
